Finally victory. Found out the short circuit its coming from the key assembly. I ran out of 15 A fuses as all of them melted off so i checked all wiring and put in the last 20A fuse in place of the 15A fuse. When I used the starter switch white smoke came from the place where we put the key exactly from somewhere beneath that. Checked all wiring around the place and its intact. So its coming from inside the ignition system.

once you might put in a fuse which is more than the component's rating and you know what will happen then ????!!!

Really hope you get it right . If you go to SVC most probably they'll ask u to change the unit ( at ur expense -of course
) . Check and locate the short circuit . That way you can determine whether it can be DIY-ed to normalcy . Keep us posted .

Hey guys,
Back from the roadtrip to Shirdi & Shanishingnapur. Had left on friday morning 0300hrs & back by evening 1730hrs covering a total of 685kms.
Few points to share:
1) Got a FE of 43kmpl with continuous speeds between 80-90kmph.
2) The bike never struggled or showed any signs of tiredness.
3) Running on 10w30 HH oil & no issues.
4) Fitted NGK G-power plug & kept the stock as spare
5) Changed the flasher to RTR one (just plug & play)as stock had gone dead. Also changed the indicator bulbs to 10w each.
6) Changed the front fork oil & increased the capacity in each to 165ml from the standard 145ml. I can now FLY low over the potholes
Time to change the rear tyre & still hunting for one, but not getting what I am looking for
Shall keep you guys posted.

tyre
i am using michellin sirac street 100/90*18...very good design and does very well on offroading and tarmac roads(same as offroad here
) it is for 2200..not a heavy tyre does not reduce acceleration n top speed(did 130kmph)..using it since last 4months.. and it is not soft compound so lasts long
They couldn't see me but All they could hear is rustling sound...Always Game!!!

Hunting for M45 4.00 X 18 but no luck, some dealer say "it will come", some say "it wont come as company has stopped manufacturing". Dont know the exact reason. If I cant find one in coming month, then I will most likely go for 120/80/18 Sirac which costs approx Rs.3000/- here without the tube. Other options are Duro, IIRC, Metzeler in stock size or 1 size up ie 110/90/18. Looking for a soft compound tyre specifically because I have been spoilt by the good handling capability of the M45Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostLet me also know what you been hunting.

I have ridden a Suzuki GS150R with the Sirac. It was good, but was not confident in it as the M45. I want a tyre which will give an all round performance & especially during the rainy season. A soft compound tyre will work like a leech on the road & have a short life span & vice versa. The current M45 on my bike has done around 24K & I feel its a good number owing to the fact that its a soft compound.
It would be great if you could answer my below queries to get some more clear picture :
1) Have you ridden the bike on wet roads with this tyre? If so how fast.
2) Are you using it as Tube type or tubeless?
3) What tyre were you running on earlier to the Sirac?
4) Does the bike fish tail on hard braking?

Hi
My 2 month old ZMA-R got a crash yesterday while going to Bheemeshawari. The right indicator got crack; some scratches and paint removed on right side of the Vizar and the silencer pipe got scratches.
Now i want to install a LEG GUARD/CRASH GUARD on my ZMA-R for future safety. But i don't want to remove the engine cowl. I have seen on some ZMA-R installed with a single rod as a leg guard.
Please help where and how to install the SINGLE ROD LEG GUARD in BANGALORE;as i already spoke to the dealer; but they don't provide the guard.RG

My bike completed 9800Kms exactly, and hence was given today for my 5th service(9000~9500Kms). The bike will be there with the SVC guys till I return to collect the bike i.e day after tomorrow evening, after college.
The reason I handed over the bike to them was cause, today night I'll be leaving for Palakkad and will be returning tomorrow night only, and didnt want to mess up the warranty also, hence had to leave it in their custody. Hope they take care of my baby, last time I left the bike with them, they left some deep scratches on the fairing, some blue paint on the rear fibers of the bike, and an over torqued oil drain bolt which had seized and had to be beaten off.
So wanted to know, the procedure of how I can claim for damages in case they repeat anything like that this time around.Motorcycling Experience:

What's the 5th service time/kms frame? My bike crossed 10k mark and I got drifted away from ZMA atleast last couple of months due to 'Legend' is in making.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostMy bike completed 9800Kms exactly, and hence was given today for my 5th service(9000~9500Kms).RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

1-frankly speaking...not yet..
2-tube type
3-stock one
4-no it does not...it holds the road
Bro as you said soft compound holds the road like a leech but being a soft compound it wears fast..u can go for pilot sporty leech which will cost you 3400 if u wish to spend that much then discussion holds no meaning and you can never get all the qualities in one tyre...tube/tubeless...soft compound/hard compound..weight,price..size...your riding territory (offroad/onroad)etc etc you have to select one fromabove options..and also availability is the ace of all...They couldn't see me but All they could hear is rustling sound...Always Game!!!

5th Service to be done between 9k and 9.5k, I gave the bike at 9.8k, but the SVC said they'll adjust. Hope they do so.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostWhat's the 5th service time/kms frame? my zma is runnig on pulsar swing arm bush but its doesnt feel good while riding on gravel or pawelblocks, can feel some deflection in rear wheel, now im going to make such bush of softer material like bronze or gunmetal which would increase service life to good extend, but any one have spare OG bush so can find exact size of bush, finding original bush is also problem....and if any one intrested here in mum we could fabricate at low cost.
