For rare colours like my old candy red or silver kind of colour the slimy retailers charge you about 1650/- for the 1150/- piece. That too if available. Back here in Mumbai we get superb paint finish look alikes which cost nearby of 600/- per piece and last extremely well. Only trained eyes wohld be able to tell the difference.

With the shaky hero getting in newer models, it's time to get these before they vanish from the local stores. I need rear panel and front ones too.

    Cheers,

You can place an order at your local Hero svc. Is there an issue with panels there?

Oh 😊. Yes, it could be risky since they don't come in packing and dunno if it would be worth the trouble after shipping etc... I'll inquire about current availability of black panels and let you know then maybe we can work out something...

Just heard from local hero spares center that all future spares comes with 'Hero' stickers. That means, even if your bike is a Hero Honda make with Hero Honda stickers on panels, if you order now you would receive the panels with Hero sticker only.

And I thought Hero Honda was looking odd on my bike.

Once we hav paid for it and something breaks we hav to bear the loss. Also the parcelling etc would be too much trouble and would add to the cost. Just see whether they will parcel it to Kannur, Kerala. If it doesnt workout I will just replace the front fairing first.

I've not been active on this forum, please excuse me for that. Lately, I've observed that during cold start, I observe white smoke being emitted from the silencer. My Zma (2010) has done 52k Kms so far. Anything I should worry about? There's no drop in performance or mileage. Just this thing is intriguing.

                      Looking for replies/suggestions.
If white smoke is coming only in the mornings (after long hours of parking the bike idle), then the valve stem seals are leaking. Replacing them would solve the problem.

+1 to that. Also your piston rings are not what they used to be... at cold temperatures the rings are contracted and hence oil is being burnt... once the engine heats up the rings seal in properly and the issue disapers i.e oil doesn't make it to the combustion chamber. Get a new set of valve stem seals valve seals new valves and piston rings.. while your at it sit with a buffer and buff the exhaust ports to a smooth finish.. bike will be better then new. Use a vale seating compound and do it by hand and not on a lathe.

My bike has done 35,000 kms now..

So far, no major issues, just the regular engine tappet noise, rattling tail like rattle snake when pass over butchered road from the recent offroad ride.

There are two issues love my bike and partner in my journey. Carb slide getting stuck and disc braking.

What needs to be done to a ZMA completed 35,000 kms?
                            De-carbonizing?
                            Valve clearance check?
                            Chain tensioner check?
                            Timing chain check?

Where can we get all these done in Chennai? Atleast I know Souther Hero (Formerly known as Southern Auto) does a waterwash, lube the rear brake, wipe the water and delivers.

                              Hi,
last September i purchased the Karizma R.But after one month the bike started giving problems relating to top speed. The hero mechanics don't seem understand the nature of the problem. The bike won't go beyond 85 km. I am fed up with it. I have tried the bike with a different carburetor but the problem still exists. One of the mechanic says the problem might be solved if the clutch disc is replaced. I am worried as i am yet to feel the thrill of the R. please help

Zma owners can you tell me if the front sprocket is a 2hole type and the rear one is a 6 hole type. (my p150classic is) so I assume it will be a direct swap right? I am well aware of the concequences benefits etc. Also... the chain is non o ring type right? prices?
