the tip got blackened because the air fuel mixture was too rich. it van happen due to 2 reasons.
1..excess fuel supply... wrong afr setting
2..inadequate air supply ...clogged air filter

oh yes, my bike used to stall mid way during rides!!
for now my mechanic has adjusted the afr, will post the difference after some more kms

the air filter (foam) is clean and in extremely good condition, is there a other way to check ??

How many turns out did the mechanic keep the afr screw ?

for hero zma I think it was 2.5 . Earlier it was 3 (or 3.5)...I think. Not sure about the 2014 version.

Guys,
I am facing couple of issues.
1. The rpm needle in the meter is fluctuating up and down while riding. The needle even reaches 7000 rpm at 40kmph speed, the engine runs normal though. Is it problem with the rpm meter wire?
2. The left side leg holder has broken due to recent fall of bike. it has broken exactly around the swingarm bolt, Do i have to worry about it, it is a casting part and costs 1500. The SC guys say it wont create a problem and they don't have it in stock. Do I have to worry?

Today i had upgraded ma zma Rear wheels with MRF zapper Q - 110/90/18. And after fitting ( was care full with the centering) , drove for 2kms, n found that the tyre had fouled with the chain guard..

and had damaged the side wall edges of the tyre.
Do t know what to do.. :what:
Had pushed the bike to near by mechi, did centering again.
But not sure how long will it be ok.
1.the gap between the tyre n chain guard.

2.the gap between tyre n the rod.

3. Damages in tyre

If any one here had experienced the same, what was the mods done.. To the link rod and chain guard.. Pls share with pics.
Will be help full... ASAP

chk battery connections. if it is ok chk for wiring loose contacts/ damage.

Hi guys i own a Karizma R ( black ) completing 2 yrs and 18000 KM. i stay i mumbai and at this time of year its raining like cats and dog here and i do nt have a roof shelter fr my baby but i have covered her and tried not to expose her to the rains. but i dont know how near the fuel tank where the knees r position there is this BLUE COLOR WATER LIKE MARKS coming up i dont know from whr did that come and i am worried about it a lot. I take care of her like a princess every week wash and vax polish .. need help i will up lode a photo u all can take a look and suggest something or how is this happening so i can take preventive measures

Get rid of the chain guard and go for Yamaha Enticer chain guard, its around 50rs if I'm not wrong. Then add a couple of links so that you can move the adjuster a bit back and align so that the tire isnt rubbing against anything.

I'm using Dunlop Monster Trail 110/90 18 without any issues along with the Enticer chain guard.

Happens when moisture gets under the clear coat. Let the bike completely dry on a hot afternoon and try some paint treatment.
