You may have to try applying the oil many times and try, but remember that it is jammed due to Aluminum oxide formation over a period of time, and requires the oil to penetrate to loosen up the screw....alternatively , you can try placing a thin screwdriver like the Line Tester type on top of the screw head and GENTLY tap on it with another small driver to loosen up the oxide coating..this may have to be done repeatedly in some stubborn cases...but remember to oil the screw area, wait for 15 minutes, then repeat the process...TAKE CARE NOT TO TAP WITH HEAVY SCREW DRIVER,SINCE IT WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE THREAD....
    Good Morning psr Sir
    Thanks for the detailed response.

For oiling the AFR screw I believe we need to remove the carb because as it is the screw is not in upright position so oiling will not be effective. Am I right ?
If yes, is there a DIY tutorial hidden somewhere to remove and place the carb back because I do not know how to. I read Aneesh's DIY on carb cleaning but it also didn't mention how and where to put external pipes/screws back AFAIR.

Regarding the loud pop sound, it is the failure of the air cut off valve causing this...If you look at the carburetor from the Kicker side, you will see a small round part fixed with screws on the carb., with a thin rubber hose connected to it........ if the two screws are removed then a spring loaded diaphragm will come out..if this diaphragm is holed then this problem arises....you can source it from the ASC... look at Ref no 9

For removing a stubborn AFR screw do as psr sir says . Mine was as if welded together and an over enthusiastic effort deformed the screw head slightly . Then I used Zorrik+engine oil every morning and evening for maybe 4 days and then I could remove it .

Edit: carb need not be removed for this task .

Last time when I installed K&N filter, I saw the mechanic open a small plastic cap which was covering the AFR screw. I am sitting in office right now, will try to post the pic in the morning.

Seems ok - just don't try forcefully. Use WD40, let it penetrate, try removing it with a light hand (and a good screwdriver). If it doesn't budge, same procedure again and again.

Haha! I was about to ask you the same, thinking you must have changed since you've done 44K

Well Ive the following in my list as of now- Ceat Zoom, Ceat Vertigo Sport, Michelin Sirac Street and one from MRF too (forgot the model).

For Sirac Street Ive read more bad reviews than good, so better stay away.
Ceat Zoom- AK3D recently got them, F and R both. I too checked them out today, liked the thread pattern.
Ceat Vertigo- No major reviews found.

                                EDIT: MRF one is METEOR.

BTW, I am looking for dual-purpose tyres. And maybe get a 110/90 if available.
