But I did learn the importance of that small fuse box under the seat which controls all the electricals of the bike with just 3 fuses (I do have fourth one in relay for the HID light). Yesterday my horm wasnt working, checked the wires.. everything was alright.. then opened the seat and checked the fuse.. the first was one almost out of the shape(melted) had to take it out forcefully...changed the fuse and magic.. Horn started working
Yes I do remember, and it is kind of you to mention it...glad that what I had shared , did help you....If the fuse is melted and out of shape, it indicates loose contact...please check the fuse holder contact if you can ...
    Good Luck..

The fuse types and where they go are written behind the fuse box top (when you open it, you'll see a white sticker with the 3 fuse types ).

Please update us with your reviews. Is the front tire too is TL or TT? I going to get hold of Zapper FQ 80/100 TL front tire soon for my ZMA. Just let me know how the Ceat front tire is doing? if its good, I might look at that too.

And how much is the Rolon lube and the Dot 4 oil?

            Hi Ravi,
Both are tube type. Zoom R TL is available only in 100/90 - 17. Since I just had them installed today, I can't give an idea of the grip. I feel the larger groove will help better - but that's just speculation. The medium compound is definitely softer than the Zapper FS. I'll take a ride during the weekend and see. Anything has to be better than the MRF super-hard though.

The Bosch DOT4 cost me 90 rupees (MRP 110) and the ROLON cost 120 (MRP 140).

              Guys,
I am in a fix. Though the problem is pretty small, it needs attention.
The neutral light on console of my ZMA is not working. The reason is- The small metal part (patti) that is located inside the chain cover has gone missing.
Its been over a month and I have not been able to get it. Can anyone help me source it in Delhi ?
Alternatively, can anyone post a good pic of it so that I can try to fabricate it maybe ?
You can ride a Motorcycle any day of the month. ;)

These two tyres cost me Rs 2700 including tax, without tubes. Keep in mind, this is less than MRP. Beauty aside, I felt the compound was a bit better than the Gripp (It's probably the same medium compound, just a 'feeling' from my end). Since I was already going in for the Zoom R, I decided to take a chance on the same pattern type for the front as well. I'll take an extended ride and give my inputs on the performance soon.

2700 for both the tyres? Man.. thats much more cheaper than buying just one PSD rear tyre Will be eagerly waiting for your inputs abt the performance...

                          Hello fellow riders,

I am owning and riding a Karizma R since more than two years as of now. The ride has clocked almost 20 k kms. Since it has passed two years I am planning to give it for a major service. Apart from the regular service and cleaning, Here are the list of parts that I am planning to change.

                          1. Coneset ( Any better options than OEM? )
                          2. Rear Brake Pads ( Creating noise during braking these days )
                          3. Brake fluid replacement.
                          4. Fork oil replacement ( Suggestions needed on which brand to be used).
                          5. Horn switch faulty needs to be replaced.
                          6. Engine oil.

Also should I change all the cables? Like clutch and Throttle cables?. Also looking for possibilities to plonk in a crash guard if possible without removing the under-cowling. Please do give me your valuable suggestions and any other pointers that I should get done during the service. Also can I make the suspension a bit more stiffer by adding a bit more/thicker fork oil. The bike's front suspension is on the softer side.

Cable change is up to you.
You'll need to remove the 'premium sports' to attach the CBZ Xtreme crash guard.
Most suggestions are already covered, I suggest you read the thread in its entirety to gain a better understanding of your bike.
The ZMA's USP as a tourer comes from the softer suspension (handling potholes with ease).

@AK3D Whats the MRP of Ceat Zooms ?
The tires surely look good, I am confused between these and Michelin Sirac Street (for rear).
                              Please suggest.

Search in this thread for Sirac Street . I have covered that topic earlier.
There were a few negative reviews about its compound, and tendancy to skid, therefore I did not purchase those.
Ravi pointed out that a few of his friends have the street, but they are not facing problems.
However, the very fact that the Michelin Sirac Street is manufactured by TVS gives me no confidence in them.
After looking at compounds/tread types etc, I settled on the zooms as the best option for city/highway rides, but not offroading. If the roads are very bad, you might want to look into the Gripp instead. It remains to be seen how these zooms will perform.
