Yes I did. But the speedo cable is blocking the screw and so I have to remove the fairing in order to adjust it. I tried some 3 combinations. This was good. But I thought it just adjusts the direction of the beam like from right to left or left to right? Correct me if I am wrong..

no need to remove the fairing just take a long philips screw driver and a torch just go to an empty road at night ( level road not a slope ) just tilt the handle towards the right use the torch to see the screw with your other hand take the screw driver and just adjust the focus ( with your lights on ) well try this because this is what i did to get it right mine is a 2011 hope its same as your bike

I think there is a difference of about 30-50rs on each part.

As for the chain set, can I go for the chain set for P220 or any other with lesser no. of teeth in the rear to increase the top end? The mech told me ZMA has 42 teeth at the rear. Please suggest.
If your top speed increase, Acceleration will suffer.

Also I am thinking of getting my chain cover opened up permanently so that it becomes easy to lube the chain. Any pros & cons of the same?
If you cleans and lube it when it gets dirty,Say less than 500kms,then its not a problem.

Just spray and spray more if you want better finish, after the previous coat dries up. If after several months the paint dulls/turns flaky (which is rare if you spray multiple coats), spray again. PS: Cleaning the surface is a must though, best if done with Isopropyl alcohol or similar liquids.
I would like to know whether i had to paint primer for repainting the Grab Rails with Tin Paint.

Some fairing alignment problem I guess cos the speedo cable blocks the beam adjustment screw. So in order to adjust it, I have to remove the fairing. Or I guess I can remove my speedo cable for a while.. Will give it a try and revert back.

But the range of the high beam is a bit less.
H/L adjustment screw . .Seems you are having some trouble with it ..!

Simple mod. Just connect a wire from one front indicator to the other. Now when you turn on any indicator, both the indicators will flash. Add a switch for this wire to complete the circuit and voila, you have your own parking light switch. Fixed it on the fairing.

            .
Reminds me of when I connected the brake light connection of my RX100 (eons back) to the indicators using diodes .

That's the way to do it .

The speedo cable shouldn't block the screw .

The beam adjustment screw adjusts the H/L in a vertical motion -(elevation) from near to far . Not from left to right .

Not the focus , the point where the beam falls .

As you said it could be a fairing alignment problem . A snapshot of the instrument cluster/fairing area from the top would've been helpful !

Bro, I guess theres something strange with you'r bike, cause when I compared my 2011 with aneesh's 2006, we found out that his fairing has enough space to squeeze both mu hands through, whereas mine couldnt even accomodate my single hand alone.

Have put smaller bulbs in place of the regular bulbs. And anyways I don't use it often. I use it only when on the highway if it rains or when parking, which is once in few weeks.

My ZMA is a 2005 one with a ZMA R makeover! Guess the previous owner put all new ZMA R parts to this. So it came in the ZMA R form in the bright red, with the new graphics and the engine cowl. Its a blend of both!

                        • guys this might sound crazy but i am very much sure about this - yesterday my bike hit reserve right in front of my favorite fuel pump so i immediately put the trip meter to zero and filled in with 100 rs of petrol (1.51l) and then i ripped the bike, was riding at all the time above 70 kmph and and did some 15 kms with pillion and at speed of 90- 100 kmph most of the time it involved sudden acceleration and deceleration and i clocked 60 kms before hitting reserve again so economy = 39.73 kmpl (insane riding)

WOW!! Thats good. My worst is 23kmpl and best in 46kmpl.

I got my worst when I went with a pillion (108(Me)+75(Guessing, He's about Aneesh's height)=183Kgs). We were hurrying off to college, We were cruising at 115~120kmph. And thats when I got 23kmpl.
