I've patched it up with Quickfix for now

HH as usual dont seem to stock this and i've just taken my bike out of a week long service for fried electricals as a result of installing HID kit

    Pls let me know...
    Cheers!
There is a Spares outlet of HH on Mount road(Anna Salai) Next to The FORD Sales outlet(C.I.T Nagar) .It is the Southern Auto Center Service and spares sales outlet.

Well.. i got a 4300K HID with ballast and installed it about a month ago,
the mech cut the feed wire going from the rectifier back to the battery,
This caused the battery to get fried. Replaced the battery and it got discharged within a day. This was due to bad wiring and i ended up replacing the complete wiring kit on the ZMA, Removed HID, removed dual Horn,
it is a STOCK bike now and i have decided not to make electrical related changes to it till it improves on reliability, tempermental battery causes problems at so many levels (learnt it the hard way)

Thanks PSR! Is this same as the service center next to suzuki (Opp. YMCA entrance)? Coz they serviced the bike and told that spares are not available.

Hmmm.. Guess you learnt it the hard way. Dont worry bro I had experienced the same probs , my windtone short circuited and had smokes comming from everywhere. So me and aneesh took the bike apart and got rid of it. Thank god, none of my bike's wiring got burn't along with the horn wiring.

Yes the same..So they said they don't have it ,is it ?...temporarily you can apply BLACK M-Seal on the cracked area to seal it...and it will do the job till you get the replacement...You have to try shops in GP road ...i have no idea of any particular shop...will inquire and let you know later.

I'll have to try checking Hardeep @ GP road, the quick fix sealant is doing the trick for now, hopefully it will hold out for another week or so

              Thank you again for checking!

                Harness Wire - Rs.1772

Add to that a HID Kit (Rs. 2200) and Dual-Horn+Cut-out (Rs. 550) which is currently up for scraps... Pocket burnt!

In my HH Passion ( 9 year old completed 60000kms ) there are conventional bulbs in speedo & working fine from day 1 .

You can get the replacement led's online or from local electronic shops. When I got my N3330 I took it to a local mob shop and replaced the illumination led's, the techies use a device similar to the soldering iron, but way smaller, its used both for removing the led and replacing it as well. After replacement A small gells applied to the soldered part. Takes about 30mins.
Its mobile soldering iron/gun , conventional gun have high temperature results in burning the mobile circuit boards so these are used. And yes to change the led's of speedo a mobile repair shop is good place

There are a lot more bikes Splendor , Passion , Max100R etc has T10 bulbs in speedo .

In windtone horns there is always chances of getting water inside & damaging. But they are easier to repair . I repair them myself .

Scraps Well if they are working then you can sell them to somebody or else gift it

Rs.2200 for HID , a normal 35 watt HID costs around 1300 rupees , is your one is 55 Watt ?

Does the horns have separate wiring?Which is the manufacturer of the cut out/Relay? How long have you been using it?

They blinks as getting power through alternator , not a direct supply from battery.
& yes windtone horns are easy to repair , other horns are also easier . except the megasonic , vibrosonic & pressure horns as they need a lot more efforts.
Will post a detail of repairing them soon

Yes cleaning it , then cleaning the point , removing the carbon then adjusting the point to get more sound with care about short circuit

HID filament was broken when the mech dismantled it, its paperweight now.
Windtones are getting put into my RD so that i wont have to worry about shorting them during
rainy days since the bike itself wont start anyway...

HID's were 35w, it was dual filament, interchangeable b/w 3000K & 4300K and therefore the extra cost. As per my dealer - a regular 4300K HID's costs Rs. 1300 or Rs. 1750 depending upon quality.

The horns indeed have seperate wiring, as a usual practice, a switch gets installed which toggles between the windtones
and the STOCK horn. The Relay is of some local brand it costs Rs.75 and i hardly even use the options/knobs present in it. I had used the horns for 5 days before it came off the ZMA.
