I guess you'll need to experiment with 110 profile for your rear wheel. M45 which was so good and as you know in India no one like anything so good that even this Michelin rubber curbed by tyre lobbies saying there no Indian certification.
SriramEfunds , thank you. I doubt the M45 is available anymore.
I am considering Tubeless types for the front and rear, I've heard good words about the Dunlop, not too sure about the Sirac Street. Let's see.
The reason for 110 is just that bit of extra grip (not to show off a fatter tyre), and I'd only do it if I don't have to modify the swingarm.

110 is a direct fit on a ZMA. No mods required whatsoever! You need not remove the chain guard as well.

Booked a Karizma R (Black) today morning at Mohana Motors, Velachery, Chennai by paying Rs. 2000. He said it will take ten days for delivery and will call me. Red and Yellow models were available. The cost is Rs. 91, 844 (Bike, Insurance, Registration), Rs. 500 for affidavit, Rs. 100 for some flag day collected by RTO. He quoted 500 for teflon coat but I insisted against it. The tyres are both tubeless, MRF Zapper. The test drive bike had a Zapper Y at the rear.

What things should I check when taking delivery?

Check if the total kms done is within 20 km. the best you can do is take a buddy along who has spent a lot of time in a Karizma saddle. He'd know immediately if something is amiss.

check for scratches, ideally take a friend and if he can pay attention to such details it will be good. you did right thing by avoiding teflon.

the upgrades you will need : good horn, good bulb like osram night breaker,a good rear tyre like pirelli sport demon, good helmet and gear

Isn't the zapper y good enough. The previous tube type stock tyres needed replacement under wet conditions, but I thought the Zapper Y is fine. As for the bulb, I was thinking of going with the Philips ClearVision. Have to start searching for a horn.

Tell me more about the night breaker, many people here are talking about it, can it be installed on my unicorn? I have the kick start model with that tiny battery, will it support the current?

Dear PSR ji, thank you doubly for the good wishes, prayers and of course, all the advice that helps keeps us thinking.
The sole reason I bought my ZMA was all the great information being shared on this particular forum, and especially your observations that made me decide about what to get.

Osram night breaker is very good, put in a Bosch relay

Horn go for roots or Bosch

Ideally go for Pirelli, with new zapper u will get better trade value and won't have to spend that much

Go for a Pirelli, certainly mrf is not in same league
