After changing both throttle cable A and B, bike revvs very easy and even feel like it was given some steroids(now feels like quick).

A big Thanks to PSR sir for helping. Now I know changing cables is not easy as it might look.

An alternate easy method would be to not follow the OE routing, but connect at throttle grip , and simply push the cable under the Petrol tank...this ofcourse will bind cable at full Left or Right turn, and may cause increased RPM at these positions of Handle bar...

today a mechanic told me I have to custom make/forge clamps to fix Bosch dual tone horns onto my ZMA. My dad is convinced we can get readymade clamps but I'm not sure if they'll fit right? I'm getting a relay for it, already have a TVS relay and looking for a Bosch relay. But are custom clamps that important for proper functioning and avoiding vibes?

Hi friends this post maybe out of the topic that is currently being discussed but i couldn't stop myself from posting this. I am from Trivandrum and i was searching for a good workshop for servicing my bike, but all this time i wasn't satisfied with any and my bike was in hell lot of trouble. In search of a good workshop i began servicing my bike even at places more than 100 kms from my place but still didn't get a desired output. But this time i found a workshop at Trivandrum itself where i did my most recent servicing and to my surprise my bike is as good as it was 6yrs back. I am writing this post here because once i used this forum to get a good workshop for my bike and i hope maybe many people still here might be searching for one. So here are the details of the workshop and contact details:

                Ragi Engineering works
                Vivekananda Nagar,
                Pangode
                Trivandrum, Kerala

                Contact Mr. Saji: 09995936053

This post is good mainly for riders from and around Trivandrum

I was recomended to approach Mr.Joseph, but it seems he charges a premium, hence had dropped the idea. Next time around I will give your guy a shot.

Which manual? If its the parts manual you can get it from Aneesh's signature or if its the service manual you can get it from mine.

Just get some extra horn clamps. And bend them abit. You can fix em inside the fairng itself, like i did when the bike was new. Else you can fix it inside the belly cowl like Aneesh did, and for that you dont need to get additional clamps. The issue with custom clamps are that the horns sound will get distorted.

Hi there.. I recently bought an used Karizma R(odo 43000 odo) and I am planning to do some performance modifications to it. So looking for help in this thread as there are many karizma owners here.. I have started off by installing K&N RC1060 air filter, sound is good but the top speed is not so satisfactory.. its about 120..

I am planning about going for bigger jets (main 135, slow 40/42) but I dont know where to source it from or if possible a bigger carb. I want to change to spark plug to NGK as well and install a FFE(contacted Joel but no reply)..

Any help here would be highly appreciated..

                          Thanking in advance..

43k is alot, nd top speed of 120 is low for a karizma, is the engine ok?

Engine seems to be ok.. I gave it to service at Hero Service Center here in Jaipur. Has to change the entire rear cowl which cost me a lot(around 5000).. they changed the engine oil and it had some bubbling which they rectified with changing the front shock rods(again 1100 there).. I am not getting sudden acceleration even after installing an air filter.. so planning to change the clutch assembly..

                              • KArizma Engine heat issue

                                Hi bro,

Even my bike has an issue, but its not on cold start. It is on heat up. When I go to some traffic area, where gear shift is between 1st n 2nd only, the engine gets heat up n it stops in the middle, and on cooling it for 5-10 min, it again starts up. This issue has started around six to eight months back.
i have even changed the CDI for this but still facing the issue, and its really embarassing.
A few days back I opened the carburetor myself n found some wax kind of gel at the base, is it because of that or the air filter issue?

Please guide me on this , what might be the problem.
