Your shock-absorber oil-seal has gone bust. I suggest you replace the oil and oil-seal of both the sides when you open it. That way you'll be good to go a longer time. Mine went bust too last week. Will replace it this week hopefully. Happens mostly in the rains...

Any potholes/bumps etc could cause an oil leak.
Yours seems pretty major and you should head to the ASC without delay. In fact, I had to replace my ZMA's oil seal today, even though the leakage was minor.

BTW, can you give us a brief overview of the Sirac Street tyres? I believe you've been using those. I plan on changing tyres and need some inputs.

They don't last 1500km, ideal drain period for mineral oil is around 900 to 1000 kms

Yes from the pic it seems the fork oil seal is weak. If you decide to get it done outside SVC, ensure you purchase the genuine oil seals and fork oil yourself and get the job done. At the mechanic shops they mix some oil grades and name it as fork oil.

You might need about 3 bottles of fork oil, 2 oil seals, an hour's time and about 350/- for labor.

Thanks for that. Ill have them replaced; regarding the Sirac street, honestly I'll not suggest it. After riding it for about 4000KM, I'm not 100% satisfied. I've taken it through some rough terrain in the ghats during the monsoon and I was impressed. No skidding or fish-tailing in the corners or while braking. I had a pillion rider then.
But in the city when commuting to office or elsewhere when cornering it suddenly gives you that skidding-feeling. I do not brake and only decelerate to regain control.

All said, It actually doesn't hug to the road to give me the confidence. But it's still better than the stock MRF that I replaced. I wonder how the buttons affect the grip.

Back from 3rd service. Which means another month or so with the HH10W30. I have started to feel mild vibes while accelerating from low revs from the foot pegs and especially brake pedal. Otherwise the bike is fantastic. By the way test rode the Ignitor. The bike is pretty good for its price. Very comfortable and drive-ability is better than the stunner. Also the showroom people say EBR is planning to get a 1000cc bike next year. This diwali there will be a hybrid electric petrol scooter. I believe the name would be LEAP since that's what it was named as a concept at the Delhi Auto Expo. The 250's will take time. After a very long time I saw a grey zma in the showroom. The sales guy said it was booked right away!

I used one for about a year and removed it. Still have it with me. You can take it if you want. Its good as new. It was the least confidence inspiring tyre I ever came across. I was scared to even touch the brakes on wet surfaces or even lean the bike even a bit. I wouldn't advise it even to my enemy. Now I'm running on the awesome Dunlop Geo Cruiser. Pure bliss...

Appreciate the inputs. The exact thing, the skittish feeling happens to me with the stock MRF tyres, so I feel I need to replace them.

Thank you for the offer, however, I'm some distance away from you .
That sounds scary indeed. I'll look into the Dunlops as an option as well.

Now, overall, I'm getting very conflicting views on the Sirac Street, for some, it offers great grip on the highways, but merely sufficient grip in the city. Others seem to dislike it altogether as it's not grippy at all.

I had a horrible experience with the Michelin Sirac Street Rear Tyres during heavy rain downpour.. the tyre skids every time i applied rear brake.. so I had to do the MotoGP style keeping my legs to balance every time I applied brake.. anyways.. not sure if this tyre is safe enough though i have just completed some 500kms at max with them..

are great .. infact fantastic tyres .. I changed my stock tyres to these before my Leh trip (at 22,000Km) .. It takes on Tarmac and gravels, mud, slush (little snow & ice :-) ) well .. Its more rounded than the stock .. offer better contact while leaning .. and got better thread pattern.. I have found them extremly good at high speeds & off roading.. breaking also is excellent... The tyre seems to be skid a little while stopping on wet roads ... (this might be i am harsh on brakes or my riding pattern, I just slow down in rains and be smooth on breaks and no issues :-) ) If you keep the recommended tyre pressure( on cold tyres) .... there would be no issues on long tours ( tyres heat up... (The tyres are said they have a softer compound on sides and harder on the center).
Having said all this .. riding pattern also have a direct impact on how bike & Tyre responds on various surfaces.

from 111diablo111
I am using that same tyre since more than 15000kms but never felt any such problem with it..I took my bike on few tough terrains as well after installing it & it performed really good there as well

from rav
I have it for the last 4 months and have done around 2000km. The grip was very good so far except for the incident I had last week on a wet road. I was at around 30kmph when it fishtailed on a stretch of water trail left by a tanker.

from rreneav1987
Now thats the problem I am facing.. the tire skids and fishtailed too everytime the tire gets wet... otherwise of dry roads its got an awesome grip.. but again.. we are not going to ride on dry conditions throughout the year and that worries me..

from vimalnair4u
But 2 weeks back after buying MIchelin Sirac Street 3.00x 18 52P for rear, I am not at all happy with the performance. Tyre seems to slip even on dry Tarmac road. My Old MRF tyre which was 4 years old was not having this issue. I am not confident on applying hard braking on the rear. Need to check on a wet surface, But I doubt it will be more slippery.Quality seems to be degraded. I am thinking of a different brand for the front.

Did anyone notice this issue who is using Michelin Sirac Street?

--------

One can assume they are alright for general usage, and even perform very well on highways, but they're terrible in the wet.
The question is, are they better in the wet than the MRF zappers or worse?

Thanks everyone for their inputs as well, it's very helpful.

according to me.. the stock tire that came with the ZMR was better.. the only difference between the ones that come stock with karizma and ZMR is only tubed and tubeless.. otherwise i am not aware of what other differences..
