Blue high temp sparks appear less bright than the yellow low temp sparks , but blue is desirable . However the problems you were having with your bike with G-power cannot be explained by that . You have possibly bought a counterfeit ngk plug , those are plentiful in our markets ( comming from china in shiploads , a container of which were intercepted in chennai port few years back ) . It is unlikely that a faulty plug left the ngk factory . G-powers are great plugs for a great price and I have comparatively tested it (several samples) with the standard ngk as well as other brands . It's main benefit is that it hardly needs any cleaning or regapping ever through it's lifetime .

Fake & Genuine NGK Spark plug

However the good thing is your problem is solved by switching back to the stock plug , which is the standard ngk one I suppose . The standard ngk plug is plenty fine for all our purposes .

I've read a review about iridium plugs somewhere where they tested it on 3 different bikes for a month or so and their observations were 1) better cold starts 2) better throttle response 3) higher FE ( only on highways compared to regular plugs, and for short distance city riding it actually gives lower FE again compared to stock plugs in city)

Thank you guys.. for the great feedback on NGK spark plug.. and as Pinaki said, the other guy who was having problem with the Gpower might have bought a duplicate NGK from the market bcos of which he was facing the problem..

Is there any indication/ hologram / 3d stickers on genuine NGK plugs?

And still my problem havent solved..... about auto reset of trip meter. My trip meter is resetting automatically.. how could I stop it? And is there any possibility of handle bar shaking bcos of old tyre? I have been facing it too.. plz help me brothers..

i have a second hand karishma r done 16500km. after my purchase one problem i am facing is starting trouble. it starts in the morning with chalk. while riding it often jerks as if lack of petrol flow. i showed it to a local mechanic and he says some jetting needs to be done. can anybody tell me what does that mean. Also much sound is coming from chain cover like chain moving against metal. i just want to make it smooth -- with no jerking, so that i can get some peace of mind

@Night_Shade: Trip meter resetting could most probably happen due to weak battery. How old is it? I too faced this problem around 18k kms. Changed the battery and there's been no issue for 4k kms till now.

This seems to make some sense bcos I bought a used bike n it was already 43k on the odo.. I have now run around 1k since then and yes I have upgraded to new hids n performance horns.. Thanks bro.. I guess the problem is solved.. Hopefully

                  Hey Raghav,

Apologies for the delayed response. Race weekends have kept us busy for long. The Karizma exhaust will cost you 8500+500 shipping charges. In addition to this, we do not have a jetting upgrade. However, we do offer a performance Carburettor for the Karizma R. The benefits will be a power bump of at least 25% and improved throttle response. The new carburettor will cost 6000. In addition to this total shipping charges of 500 is applicable. Thank you

My name is Raghavendra and I am from Jaipur. I want to enquire about the FFE with decibel killer for Karizma R. I have recently purchased a used Karizma bike and I am thinking of servicing the bike before I use it as the engine has some sound. And also I was thinking of increasing the performance. I have planned to install K & N air filter, Iridium spark plug and a FFE. As I was searching for it on google. I came across your name. So Please let me know how much it will cost me(FFE with decible killer) and how would you send it to Jaipur. I NEED IT ASAP.

Power bump of 25% ? Does the RPM increase to 10K, or does the BHP increase from 16-17 to 20BHP? Are there any dyno tests done?
I would be very interested in knowing, particularly since I've been craving power bumps in my motorcycle too.

But before that I need to know all the pros and cons of the thing I am going to try on my bike cuz it isnt just a matter of 1 or 2k here.. so need to think a little before investing around 15 to 20k for engine upgradation

Huh what??? Sorry??? i just saw my name being mentioned here. Is RC/ "Race Tooner" also promising you space thrusters and 10Gs acceleration for free with the kit?? has the seller used the terms "Bullet proof reliability" and "better than stock performance" etc.?? Then please do check out my thread mate. It should clear all your doubts and also the need to hot rod the stock ZMA from a particular seller. Anyways, please do check out the thread and see it for yourself.

If i were you i would start saving money and go for the insane KTM Duke 390. At 2.23 lakhs it is a steal...

Because of my working time I find the roads deserted buy others at 2 in the early morning and most often take my bike to 120 or more almost every day. But with ngk G power all I get was my bikes engine roar but thank fully after reveting to normal plug its feels so damn good again
Even I'm experiencing the "roar" factor. Thought it was just me. Didn't find it in initial stages after changing though... Will try rechanging to prior Mico plug and check. Btw, was using Iridium for past two years before the Mico and its characteristics were nothing like the "G" thingie. I had promised myself to use nothing but the Iridium. But curiosity got the better of me.
On second thoughts, maybe there is a possibility that a bit of tweaks on the carb tuning might just brighten up the 'G-Power' funda. Dunno, just a thought...
