Yes, Couldn't decide the distance at which to hold the plug. Using a Phone camera made it worse I guess

Even with the out of focus image, your AFR seems normal from the plug condition - neither rich nor lean. You could give a quarter turn clockwise to increase the average a bit.
You are supposed to check the white ceramic area for the brown tint - it should be a light tan.

Hello bikers!!

I am stuck in a bad situation!

My Karizma Premium Sport's (2006MAKE) 3rd Gear Pinion is broken since last 8 days!Bike is in local garage since then.I have enquired in many Hero Authorised Spare Shops and ASC here in Kolkata for that particular Pinion,but no hope!!Its not available!!

Please assist me to find the same or give me suggestion about where should I need to search!!

This is third time I'm going to change my timing chain after 1200-1500 Km bike produce cut-cut sound in low rpm. Any suggestion what causing this ?

So third gear is broken down. Same thing happened to me. There is one problem when I purchase that gear it didn't fit in my bike first time then I went to the shop again with old gear there was difference in teeth both gears are karizma. But he charge me too much because it was not available in market the nor ASC. Will update in night if possible. Can you count the teeth for me and mark the part with red colour.

Pinion is "22teeth" and one side is broken

Two weeks back I gave my ZMA to ASC for Regular servicing as my bike had not seen road for almost 2 and half month because I was suffering from Hepatitis A, and was bed rest for 15 days. My bike was in Ahmedabad and I was in my home city Rajkot 222kms away.
After getting all my senses back, I went to A'bad and took the bike to ASC. All electricals were working fine before giving the bike to ASC.
On receiving the bike from ASC, It run well for few kms but then all the electricals went down. I headed back to that ASC for checkig the problem, but the mechanic worked on my bike went home in the time I reached the ASC. Then, I forced them to see my bike. Another mechanic came saw the bike. He first removed the wires connectors from the front brake lever, then all the electricals came alive, but for few minutes and all went down again. He anyhow repaired it again and said "aapke bike ka shayad front lever brake switch bigad gaya hai, replace karna padega".

It worked well since that visit, except brake lights didnt work on applying brakes.
During a ride from Ahmedabad to Rajkot, in last halt on starting the Presence light, all the electricals went down again. Today I was looking at the fuse box. I found a 7.5A fuse in the 15A socket for Panel,Stop & turn. And 15A fuse in clock socket. So I interchanged those. Walaah, electricals were back alive.

Phir muje keeda hua, so I connected those disconnected wire connectors of front brake. Twisted the key from OFF position ti ON position. All electricals were working fine. Then I gave just a Click press to front brake, A sound from the fuse box. 15A fuse blown.

So, what I am supposed to do now, buy a new front brake switch? Or I am facing some other problem? any Ideas are welcomed.
Sorry but questions are like noob kind of, but thought a few suggestions from experienced riders will be good.

I had a problem with Fuse box during April-May this year. Changed about 16 fuses.

Bhaski9836 today i went to shop unfortunately part was not available there, he ask me visit tomorrow. I will check ASC too and update status. If I found the part should I bought that time or wait.

Today I visited him again he told the part will arrive on this Saturday with all other parts. Whenever I find this part I will dispatch the courier at the same day.

Help needed on Karizma R maitainance/repairing/spare parts

Hi,

I live in Dwarka, New Delhi and I've just bought a 2009 Karizma R with 25000KMs on the ODO.
I would like to set all the things right in the bike first before I start to use it regularily. Not that it is in a bad shape, but few niggles here and there need to be taken care of.

To start with, can you please suggest me a trustworthy spare shop dealer and a good mechanic nearby my locality. I have no experience of using and maintaining a bike and the technicalities of it.


Further, would keep bugging you guys with my queries and bike's probs (if any).
