Guys, my ZMA's AFR screw is jammed. The mechanic has advised to take the carb to a kharaadi shop in Karol Bagh (Delhi) and they would unscrew that jammed screw.

Should I do this ? Does anyone have any other solution to this issue ?
You can ride a Motorcycle any day of the month. ;)

Yes, 5 year warranty is on engine, gearbx and carb only.

For availing warranty one have to do all free and paid service on time,no other engine oil,no other tyre installation etc etc, which will void warranty.

Thanks bro, first opted for black color but was unavailable. Its very difficult to control myself below 60 speed, though not exceeding it.
Pillion rider (my wife is heavy weight) is allowed during running in period?

You can even go to 70 or 75, just avoid sudden bursts of acceleration - keep it smooth and steady, and the run in will be excellent. Also remember to vary your RPMs i.e no continuous high RPM rides on the highway till a few hundred kms.

              1. Who said 60 is the max speed one can do while running in?
Running in can be put in simple terms as - Avoid sudden accelerations and don't sustain high speeds for long!

              2. Avoid a (heavy) pillion for the first few hundred kms. Maybe till 200 kms.

basically avoid high rpm speeds , though a short burst here and there wont be a problem

When one problem (tak tak) went away with the cam adjuster replaced, now it has paved the way for a new problem OIL LEAKAGE
I don't know if the mechanic didn't properly tightened the lower screw or not, but I saw oil leak from the lower screw of the holder.Click image for larger version

There is a Gasket between the Auto Chain Tensioner and the Cylinder head...change it with a new one, or use any liquid Gasket between the tensioner and the head...

I am hearing a grrr grrr sound from the engine at idle rpm and i am able to feel something tapping on the cluth lever. A tappet setting was done recently and the tensioner lifter was also changed. The noise is very low and someone new to the bike definitely can recognize it. the bike has done 45000 kms. Experts please help.

Ankit, don't treat your bike with kid's gloves....Keep the RPM below 5 K till 400 Kms and thereafter under 6 K till 1,000 Kms.....warm up engine before engaging gear and moving, and keep varying RPM ...
Don't drive at steady RPM and don't indulge in sudden acceleration, .....apart from these no other precaution need to be taken...

As winters are approaching soon, use choke before starting and let it idle for 20-30 seconds before turning it off.

                                Got it sir.

An irritating rubbing sound is comming continously from front disk, is it due to new pad? When I touched the disk rotor, stains of black carbon type deposits on my hand, is it normal wear?
