@pulsar_flame: Great that you got your a** saved back there. R15 is indeed a great bike. You seem to really confident about your rear brakes. Im having trouble with it (26 kms on the trip meter).

I remember somebody writing that one doesnt feel the speed while riding a R15. He was right. I was cutting through all the vehicles on the flyover at a speed of 70+ and I felt like I was on 40. This is something no other bike can offer till date.

Today I checked the Front brake pads. Pads are in good condition but I noticed that after pressing the brakes the caliper is moving outwards. Is it normal?

You can't really compare this one with other 150s, this one is class apart.

Hi guys, on a different note & in a different tone, my bike is doing extremely well.
After a lot of days, got a chance to free her wheels. I was a little worried about how would she respond, given the way all of you are facing some problem or the other. To my surprise, she did not give me any trouble. She is gaining 0-120 over the same distance - same time that it used to. I am not facing any problem at all.
This was to reassure the few, who want to buy R-15 but may be are hesitating reading all the complains.

complaints on r15 will be there why even on a ducati...but we have to see some good points about the bike also...till date r15 is the best bike in the town...i shud not forget zma a class apart too...

@Pulsar_Flame: Your bike switched off, coz there's a mechanism that cuts off fuel supply to the engine in case of extreme tilt when it falls. No issues.

Go to Pearl Yamaha, Gachibowli. You can sit there&get it done if you go there early in the morning by 9:30 or so. I got mine from Venkatesha too, but stopped going there after 1st service, coz they keep the bike all day long&we can't even see whats going on!

Touch sandalwood, oakwood, teakwood! Even my bike is doing well. No issues yet. The main bit is the service thats coming up. Instead of helping maintain, it detoriates quality, as I've heard. Taking a day off and will see the servicing through. I have checked the points behind the free coupon, and will make sure each and every bit is carried out, however tiny it may be.

I've done 812kms till now, and even my bike's tires are losing pressure every 3-4 days. Its not drastic, but its about 5-6 psi in both tires. Since then I've started over inflating by about 2-3 psi. It works! Pressure reamins constant for nearly a week. So people who have not tried it yet, can try this out before putting in a tube.

And my major query is the engine kill. Do you guys use it frequently at traffic lights? Because in the manual it says use only in emergency cases, like when the throttle cable gets stuck or bike overturns. And when I kill the engine and reset the switch, the fuel pump operates again. So does this mean its actually not meant for turning off the bike?

@ Suhail Kapoor- oops, missed out on your reply. I know no matter how much of a feather weight I am, I should not have been taking it above 5K rpm before running in. But you did'nt get what I said. I meant the bike touched 130kmph with two people onboard and still was not at redline, and this must have been because both of us were featherweights. And at that time, I could just not resist. Even I thought one rip should not hurt much! And truly, never ripped after that.

I got HID kit installed on the bike on my trip to B'lore.. It's of Philips n costed abt 8.5K. got it installed from there itself by a person who does install on Super bikes.. He's a pucca Pro in these things... i had the ride back to Chennai with it.. The spread given by it is just awesome.. U can be sure that you won't miss any signal boards.... But I find the scatter of light little less, b'coz of which U can 't really figure out dark coloured objects..

One more thing, this mechanic also looked into the Jerk issue i had in every gear.. He said it's due to the miss timing in the clutch plate release even after fully releasing the clutch lever.. he didn't want it to work on as it's under the warranty n said that SS guys will be able to do it...

No issues on battery so far..
There was no wire cutting also..
Need to check it out on the traffic today...

I giv cent percent for the low beam.. Hi beam is just ok.. I found people looking back from the cars because of the Hi beam.. I scatters around the whole area... But the clarity it gives is little less..

I bought it from Car n style, JC Road, 3rd cross.. they demanded 9.5 K at first.. But since I found another shop on same street which offered at 8.5K, dey reduced it.. I can PM you the mechanics number if u want.. Even they hav his number..
