if we can find this dealer elsewhere then shipping to india will be a lot cheaper. Edit: oops .. it's for 1 bulb + kit.

    • Yeah its a motorcycle kit , one...
      I was like awww...

From china i got hold of the factory guy .
39 $ oly for a pair of single beam.
But shippin costs more than the kit itself
      makes no sense.

          • with 2 single beam HIDs right ? .. what we need is a single high beam only like navnish's. It's impractical for the city anyways.

Looks awesome! But you can't be serious, for a HID we have to look into China Nothing similar available in India ???
Will the stock battery support these high power lights ?
                Fear is the Trigger!

With correct wiring, battery should support it. I had a stop n go ride yesday with Fans kicking in.. I didn't find any difference...

So does this mean its actually not meant for turning off the bike?

hmmm... didn't I read it in the manual that I should use the engine kill switch and not the ignition key to turn off the engine....??? gotta check again.

He said it's due to the miss timing in the clutch plate release even after fully releasing the clutch lever.. he didn't want it to work on as it's under the warranty n said that SS guys will be able to do it...
I believe the gear shift jerk problem can be solved with adjusting the clutch lever ply and the cable tension. I had this issue and was solved.

                    Serious suggestion to all:

Pl. do service your bike before you run out of mentioned date / KMS. Guys at showroom rejected my first service and did the 2nd service (I went for servicing on 40th day (some 700 Kms)).They were telling some stupid reasons for that..

and to my experience, pl. don't *service* your bike @ Venkatesha motors, hyd. I asked the guy over there to fix the noise coming from visor (I removed it few days back and failed to reinstall it correctly), that guy just inserted some paper folds in between and delivered the bike, do u belive ?? I had to leave immediately after seeing that... I have no words to ask or shout there...
So, did you buy the stickers? Venkatesha motors have stock of them.

And, welcome to the world of servicing!!! every place is such.. with minor differences. All these stupid acts are shortcuts to meet the demand!

Navnish, please let us know why they charged Rs 540... Give us list of items & their cost from the bill.

Joel, that makes it as 1100 kms in 24 liters = 45.8 kmpl. That too at that high speeds!!! did you run for some distance with the fuel already in your tank.... ???

I had to do this twice on the highway... and yes, it gets very very scary once you touch 70km in reserve!!!

I had the SS guys adjust my cable couple of times now. Are you using the new clutch lever(accessory)? I have a feeling that lever makes the cable tighter!!!

I think the billet levers are longer than the stock levers and they are fouling with the cable play!
P.S: Had a ride on Joe's bike yesterday and felt so.

I am using the lever from accessories. This lever is thicker than the stock one and hence the feel... But my bike faced this problem at about 6500 kms. I have changed the clutch cable at 9K & most things sorted out.

They are indeed helping us with missing screws & also if they notice a screw with threads or grips gone. Even some bushes!

Yeah man, thats the surprising part. I was always at speeds above 100 and everywhere after Dharmapuri I had to stay in lower gears for constant high speed overtaking. I had hardly some 1.5ltrs of gas when I tanked up. Its just today that I filled gas after the trip. I have covered 1145kms so far with the same fuel. To imagine how I would have ridden, I covered the total distance of 505kms in 7hrs 10mins. That includes one long traffic jam near Palakkad and 2 stops to fill air and riding for 30kms with a flat rear. Stopped for 5 mins for a drink as well.
