its from the battery DC , the battery provides output . It can give 60/55w output with ease. This doesn mean that u leave the lights on all the time without engine running.
Even on ur 220 get a 100 w h7 , it ll work .simple.
The power distribution varies , thats all , ur horn ll get meeker..
im running 2 60/55w
1 Nightbreaker and another GE

130 does fit to R15 without any mods .Originally posted by R15Rocks View PostThe easiest&most hassle free tyre upgrade would be the Pulsar 220 tyres-90/90/17" front&120/80/17" rear. Nylogrip Zappers, both tubeless. You would be losing out on the soft compound grip that the R15 tyres offer you, but the 220 tyres will not require any modification&will give you a better visual appeal too. Check whether you can trade in your 1 5 tyres.
Have seen bikes with 130 rear profile.
Also the mechanic at the workshop said it fits without problem.
but..but...he advised against it as according to him 1 of the basic problems faced would be loss of the incedible handling capability of this bike.
Infact he cited 2-3 names of people who reverted back to stock tyressigpic

and what about the gearing? Already R15 takes ages to touch 142 kmph on speedo, and we further overdrive it?Originally posted by R15Rocks View PostThe easiest&most hassle free tyre upgrade would be the Pulsar 220 tyres-90/90/17" front&120/80/17" rear. I still say a 120/65 from a good manufacturer is good enough. Front better be left stock!

@ Rear Brake Pads: I say front should be more used be it anything above 150cc 2 Valve. Anyways Guys, you should claim it in Warranty. Other manufacturers even replace the Brake Lights in warranty (Ex: Bajaj). Then, Why can't Yamaha replace a functional part?Last edited by Samarth 619; 12-01-2008, 05:37 PM.---

Bajaj does NOT replace bulbs under warranty. Bulbs are also treated as consumables by the manufacturer.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostAnyways Guys, you should claim it in Warranty. This is from my experience Probiking service centers in two cities!
If your service centre is doing it for you, they are cheating BAL._________________________

Bulbs? What do you mean? Only the "LOW MAINTENANCE" Brake LEDs are replaced (not indicators, front, etc)Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostBajaj does NOT replace bulbs under warranty. Bulbs are also treated as consumables by the manufacturer.

by the way, I admit they are corrupt, but How can they cheat BAL if they give me something?
