Ya there is some issue with the rear tire not being designed for the front...I don't know more on this topic but I have seen around 4-5 P200/220s with a R15 rear at front and some 130 rear tire. Hella guys. wassup.
i am experiencing tht my chain is loose.
But when accelerate while riding there is noise coming from engine or somewhere tht part.
Noise is like a ball bearing sound. As if they r dry/loose is it sumthing related to chain timing????Not only Great power comes with great responsibility but also with Great RISK !!! Referring to SBKs...

Troublesome 200
Hello Everyone
I have a few queries regarding Pulsar 200:

a month ago I had installed K&N RC-1060 and I was not happy with the performance.
Everytime I ask somebody they either say K&N is harmful or jetting is required....
just cant understand what Im supposed to do.....so I got back to the stock air-filter.....
> Also when I accelarate and wen rpm gets to 4K and above the engine sound gets a kind of rough.....I feel something is stopping me from further accelarating......its irritating to the core.....
......my problem is Im not technically aware of how things work.......so I dnt know wats the problem........and after 6k its normal and once I cross 7k I get a kinda sudden push....all of a sudden my pick-up increases.......its so abnormal.....
>The Bajaj ppl told me get the sprocket replaced.....its time they say....

KN&N is not at all harmful... provided it's done correctly. KN&N is basically a free flow air filter which let's in more air into the combustion chamber. So, in order to make sure that the Air/Fuel mixture does not get too lean, Up Jetting or Carb adjustment is required.
Now since the AF mixture is now richer, in order to burn that mixture properly you need better spark plugs, in the lines of Iridium tipped spark plugs.
What I get from your problem is, it's just a tuning issue. The fitment of KN&N and followed by the revert back, as damaged the tuning and the AF mixture needs to the re-tuned now. The replacement of the sprocket would be due at around 20K.

Anyway can anybody explain. How to know if the my bike is in Rich mode.
Btw today applied Zorrik 88 on rusted nuts and parts. Is it advisable on chain ???
Btw our is O-ring type chain ? wat does that exactly mean ?Not only Great power comes with great responsibility but also with Great RISK !!! Referring to SBKs...

Thanks a lot.....feels good wen v get the answers....does anyone know where in mysore can one find a good mechanic......v also dnt hv a PBK here.....and its hard to depend upon the Showroom ppl.....they some how dont give much attention to the problems....pls if anyone is aware let me know.....thanks.

hey guys i have a 2007 p-200 (pics are on page 211) done 38k kms till date and have started losing compression in the cylinder. so was thinking of changing the bore +piston+ring+head to the new 220s parts, if anybody has done it before plz give me feedback if not ill go for the normal valve lapping and decarbonizing.
waiting for the reply , ill be doing this stuff around next week

then u shud also go in for the 220 bigger carb and so the new CDI. Engine prob
(
Riding constant on 80 for just 5 min = Engine heat up sign on console. and the exhaust pipe near engine starts smoking
(without water on it) Also burning smell 
Rode for 30 min OIL blinking on console.
loss in pik up and daily morning start prob...
A mechanic told me tht need some tuning and and some bearing near needle needs to be replaced. didnt get actually wat he was trying to say.

Some of the problems faced by Veerul, even I have come across those.....but I have also observed a kinda black(my guess is carbon emission deposit)stuff on exhaust pipe........everytime I clean it and ride another 50KM or so....it's back......
Also I have lost pick-up that a 200 generates....
