20w40 oil is completely waste or i could put it to some use ?
which engine oil pack should i buy, the last one i brought was 1000ml pack
is there any bigger pack available or should i buy 2 bottles ?

You can use it to lubricate clutch cable, accelerator cable. Buy, Motul Mineral 3100 (200-250 Rs\ltr) or Motul 5100 (450 Rs\ltr) or Motul 300V (850 Rs\ltr) or Valvoline premium (270 Rs\ltr). All of them are good. You will have to buy 2 bottles of whatever oil you buy.Originally posted by sammy21 View Postthanks

Congrats for ur new-old 200 !!!Originally posted by sammy21 View Posthi everyone
Just last week i brought a used Pulsar 200
it is march 2007 model and done 21k but very well maintained
So far i have driven 180 kms on it and max speed which i got was only 110 km/hr
What should be the tire pressure ?
i have put 1 bottle of Castrol 20w40 in it and after reading this thread i came to know that i should have put 20w50 or 15w50 and that also 1300 ml
What should i do now ? should i replace all the oil or put some extra ?
Any good service center in Gurgaon (Haryana) ?
thanks in advance

Im not shocked that you are able to reach only 110km/hr !!!
Possible Faults:
1.Tire Pressure
2.Loose Sprocket
3.Old engine oil
4.Engine Chain Timing
5.Tappet Adjustment Required
Since you have got an used bike its better if U get it serviced completely......then you can expect it to behave like a normal 200.

after roaming for 2 hrs i found motul 15w50
in Gurgaon
currently have put only 1000ml of it
Is there any issue if i run the bike with 1000ml for about 10kms
tomorrow will buy and put 300ml more...

Guys,
Isn't 1300 ml too much during oil change.
For regular oil change u need to pour 1150 ml.
If you have done engine overhauling or DE-carbonizing you can put 1300ml.
Source- P200 Manual. Guys correct me if am wrong.

1150 ml for oil change. 1300 ml for engine overhaul. Source: P200 / P220 Manual.Originally posted by sammy21 View Post1300ml or 1150ml
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

1300 only if the engine has been opened for repair or decarbonizing, which is not the case with your bike.Thank you very muchOriginally posted by antz.bin View Post1150 ml for oil change. 1300 ml for engine overhaul. Source: P200 / P220 Manual.

Was browsing through my old pics and found this. I had taken this probably in Jan 2010 @ hyderbad PBK when i was getting my P220 serviced. 200 mated with R15. Mods was carried out neatly! I liked it!07 HH Zma
