      • To the P220/200 owners of Bangalore, Why dont we make a common request to Bajaj to make Khivraj Bangalore operational on Sundays also? Its really tough for office going people and students to manage without bikes on weekdays and its really tough for them to drop it to service center during weekdays too. The service center remains closed on national holidays also(Their showroom is open on sunday, seems like that is a different issue). So please join the cause and bombard Bajaj Customer Care with your emails and make it convenient for we owners.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!"

                    • Hi Everyone,

Y'day the rear Tyre of my P200 got punctured...the damage was really bad ... a very sharp metal strip bent in a V-shape neatly 'sliced' a portion of my rear tyre ... tried to fix it via tubeless tire puncture strips but that did not work .... tried removing the tyre completely & fixing a patch inside the tyre ...but that did not work either !!!

I really dont know what to do now....replacing the whole tyre seems an expensive proposition ..... can i put a 120X18X17 tube in my rear tyre to fix this ??

                      Please advice !!

A tubed tire would definitely be a good replacement of tubeless, but at a compromise of feedback. Tubed tires don't provide the kind of feedback as tubeless do. On the positive side, you might start getting a wee bit more mileage from your bike.

Nice mods there bro. It would be very helpful if you could also share the performance gains/benefits as a result of these mods and also a startup and idling video.

Also, please do let us know, if the Dual Band CDI can be imported to India??

Thanx ! The only thing I was wondering was how would i fit the valve on the the tubeless Rim...i mean wouldnt the origna; valve be fixed on the rim?

I'm not 100% sure as to what you are concerned about but over here, people (tire shops) are readily offering 120section tubed version, if they are not having tube less version. I've inquired with them if they would work on my P200, and the answer from many has been yes.

But never the less concern a good mechanic/shop before investing your money on the tubed tire for your P beast, sucking 200 in and blasting 18 out!!

                              • On 2nd Oct we had gone for a small day trip to Alwar and Sariska.
Trip was fine, just wanted to share the mileage.

I put in 400 bucks of petrol, the tank was almost empty before this.
                                Total kms done: 439
Speeds were maintained in the 65-70 range.
Assuming 8 litres of petrol in 400 bucks, the mileage comes to 55+ km/l (!)

I must say I had always expected 40+ but this is a very pleasant surprise, as petrol becomes costlier I will not have to consider a 100 cc bike in future...
