The 220 Dts-Fi silencer does not have a catcon, but 200/220 carb does.
I think the silencer is designed specifically for the engine, so ask for a 200's silencer only. If it is not available then try out the 220's silencer, may be a bit freer-flowing than stock.
Of late the spares are getting hard to procure here in Delhi, maybe the situation is all over the country.
Even I was thinking that the scene for the 200 specific spares are going to get very hard to find.

But does anyone know weather the 200 and220's carb silencer are different internally.

          • The 220's silencer does not fit on the 200, the 220's silencer is long, having major problem sourcing the silencer. . .

Are you sure buddy? Have you tried putting 220's one? I dont think there should be a problem.

BTW if you are buying a new exhaust then why not buy a free flow?

I was tired of the fairing vibes so a small modification. How does it look?

                • ^ I think the classic round headlamp will look better. The FZ headlamp is the most popular among modders.

Anyway, speaking about the headlamp, today I put in a Philips 55W bulb and its illumination is way better than the stock 35W.

I have not installed the Avy stator yet, it's lying around. The lighting is good, should become great when I install the stator.

Yes the lag is there but that gets eliminated once the stator is installed. I have the stator with me and might install it tomorrow.

As for the front tire on the above pics it is the FZ one, I think it is 100/80 or so, made by MRF

Yes the round headlamp will look good. But make sure you get HID. They are amazing when it comes to round headlamp setup.

AFAIK they are the same. They have same part reference number in the manual the PBK people have.

                        • Heat generated in Battery Compartment

                          Hi Guys,

Recently am finding too much heat coming from the battery area when m cruising around 4k to 6k rpm. What could be the issue? Is my battery become weak and unable to charge up to a certain limit whereas the electrical system is giving too much feed to the battery.
I remember my SA at Probiking mentioning about the cells becoming weak in the batter during my 10th servicing.
My P200 is 2yrs, 5 month old with 37.8k kms on the Odo, running on stock exide batteries.
All electrical s are working fine, battery warning sign shows up only when deliberately cranked the engine with the button.(This has been since a year n pretty normal)
Now my concern is, how much time do i have till i go for a battery replacement, i know the battery life is fast approaching its end of life but what is causing this unusual or is this normal?

                          Cheers!

Not all battery's give up in 3 years. I have a friend who has P150 dtsi from past 6 years. He has not changed the battery till date. He had some problem with the recharging kit. He got it replaced. I would suggest you to get everything checked before jumping to a conclusion that battery is beginning to give up

You need nothing except the Avenger 180 stator. Its part number is DV111005. Once you get this, the change is quite easy, requiring only basic knowledge.
Here is a good link on this:

The only issue is that the neutral light indicator wire coming out of the Avenger stator does not match the neutral wire socket on the P200 wire harness. So it is just a minor jugaad to connect them somehow.

Important: Don't buy the Avenger 200 or 220's stator. These do not fit the P200.
