Earlier I had K&N RC1060 setup and now its back to stock and I have noticed a slight change after getting back to stock setup...that is when I rev at about 7k rpm bike pushes hard all of a sudden and gives a huge amount of acceleration at once couldnt understand that response and the worst part is tapping sound and the bajaj svc people are of no use when problems get too technical......also engine sounds awful when I accelerate in between 4K rpm to 6K rpm......I have done 20K on the Odo.....and my query is how to get rid of the tapping sound and attain smoother acceleration like earlier times.....and engine gets heated up too soon......and the only answer I can think of is Motul oils other than that please suggest me what I have to do.....thanks in advance !

I experienced a weird problem with my P200 today. While riding to office today, the front disk jammed a little. I slowed down and tried pulling the lever but it was too tight for free movement. I started off again real slow. Then the wheel jammed completely. I tried checking the Disk Rotor, but it was too hot to even touch. So, I parked the bike in the shade for a while. After sometime i could manage to ride but there was a lot of resistance from the front disks. Took the bike to the next garage on the road. The mechanic there removed the callipers from the rotor and did a bit of oiling and seperating the brake pads. The brake got fixed but i doubt that this is a temporary fix. Can anyone guide me what was the reason for the disk lockup. Brake fluid was above the set minimum level in the cylinder. How can i fix this so that i dont have to face this again. This could have been fatal if i didn't pay attention and slowed down. Please help guys!

yup it happens if you get air blockage in the fluid pipe which doesn't let the clippers release. its better to drain out the fluid and remove any air inside the pipe. once my friend got bruises because of this disc lock while taking a u turn... slippery sand on road added on to it.Originally posted by pulsarmaniac View PostI experienced a weird problem with my P200 today. check the clutch plates for sudden acceleration thing... if rpm's increase suddenly or high rpm and low speed is the case .. clutch plates must have gone bad. what tapping sound ? coming from tappets or exhaust ? you need to check the Air fuel ration also as you switched back from K&N ... tuning of carb should be done as per your stock filter.Originally posted by Akel View PostHello all !

how do i remove the air out of the fluid pipe?do i have to drain the oil again from the cylinder? I dont want to take any risk riding with such brakes. Its too dangerous IMO.Originally posted by cschoudhary View Postyup it happens if you get air blockage in the fluid pipe which doesn't let the clippers release. its better to drain out the fluid and remove any air inside the pipe. once my friend got bruises because of this disc lock while taking a u turn... slippery sand on road added on to it.

you can remove by a little hole near disc or just go to nearest local mechanic.Originally posted by pulsarmaniac View Posthow do i remove the air out of the fluid pipe?do i have to drain the oil again from the cylinder? I dont want to take any risk riding with such brakes. Its too dangerous IMO.

I did that. Went to the nearest mechanic and got a major kit too. replaced the parts. we found out that the piston spring was broken and the hole at the bottom of the cylinder was choked. 2 hrs and the problem got fixed. Did an Alibag ride after that last weekend. No problems with the disc nowOriginally posted by shravanchoudhary9 View Postyou can remove by a little hole near disc or just go to nearest local mechanic.

P200 > Free Biking !
Hello All P200ians !
Finally after 4 days of work my ride seems to be getting back to its original colors......
Got the tappets adjusted and the problem with the engine has been shot down to chain cam replacement and carb-jet replacement ( I had put on a bigger one when I had K&N so it is running rich and often misfiring ).......thanks for all ur support !
And got an Osram h4 55/60W bulb......please guide me regarding which part from Avenger 180 should be put into the 200......bcoz I remember reading it somewhere that a 55/60W bulb will eat up the coil or something
so what should I replace from Avenger 180......Thanks in advance !
