Get all these things done/checked then we will further trouble shoot. By the way how old is your bike in terms of kms??Hey Honda_CBF,
Thanks for all that info, my bike has covered nearly 25k on road. I dont own the bike from the beginning bought it when it was reading 23k so not sure whether the previous owner has changed the spark plug or air filter though. So is there is a way to check whether these part are old enough to change. When I gave the bike for servicing I saw the air filter myself it was clean and spark plug as mentioned earlier the mechanic told its fine no need to change th espark plug too.
Regarding Air Fuel screw adjustment and valve setting I guess need to search for any good mechanic around here, I guess my mechanic won't do it as he is not well verse is doing that. Can I try by myself with Air Fuel screw adjustment? If is ok to do that please guide me in that.
I have onemore problem with the front disk breaks, its totaly not working. Earlier I had a leakage of break oil from the minor kit and the break was not so efficient as it use to be. The mechanic told that the minor kit is not working properly and asked to change it, but even after changing the minor kit its not at all working

Airfilter can if new then it will look clean. probably yellow or green in color. If it looks dusty even after cleaning then it needs changing. for spark plugs look at its electrodes.. if they look eroded then change. new spark plugs will carry sharp edges. here a useful link : Frequently Asked QuestionsOriginally posted by Honda Stunner CBF 2008Oct View PostThanks for all that info, my bike has covered nearly 25k on road. buddy tuning is harder than the disk brake caliper service (the link that I have posted) basically its just disassemble-clean/lube-assemble thing. Servicing master cylinder & components are much harder. Tuning seems easy at first because we only fiddle with one screw, but the opposite is true. All in all, you can try some diy but if in you are in doubt then seek HELP of professional. And there's no particular do's and don'ts for stunner. Its just like other bikes.. Like a little warm up before riding, clean air filter, lube chain, change oil etc every 2k kms or as needed. Check pressure in tyres every week etc.. Ask any particular question if in mind. Always happy to helpOriginally posted by Honda Stunner CBF 2008Oct View PostThanks buddy for all that usefull info. Yes even I think so, but over here I am not able to find a good mechanic who can tune the bike well. Finding a good mechanic is like seraching for a oasis in desert, this is what I feel after visiting a couple of themOriginally posted by s1d View Postkeep your hands away from the carb! why dont you visit the asc and get it set correctly if you do not know any proper mechanic.

Its better to find some good mechanic around here who can take care of the issues with the bike. All mechanics in the beginning looks they are master in this field, but later when they mess up with your bike you come to know the real picture
. Seriously till no I have been to four mechanics out here plus Honda service center guys. None of them were usefull. Worst part is Honda service center guys they dont even look all your concerns, they are so careless at the end of the day they will hand over the bike to you with same problems still exist in your bike. I personally believe Honda lacks here they need to improve themselfs in servicings.
I am looking for the Owner's Manual for Stunner over net, but no where I am getting it. Could you please help me here.

sorry for coming in late. Super busy these days.. For hard copy of manual try talking to svc/showroom guys they should be able to help. On the net, try searching for torrents, i found some pdf files titled 'cbf 125 owner's manual' while looking for service manual. Try searching, you should be able to find some good ones but i think those are for FI versions, but then again something is better than nothing, right. And about the mechanics, I've got the same view man, ditto. Regarding tuning, my stunner likes its AFR screw between 3.75 ~ 4 turns out (1turn=360 degree) from full close position. [Actually 3.75 turns is little lean (or may be just perfect), for mileage and 4 turns is little rich, helps keep my engine cool & awesome throttle response is the return gift]Originally posted by Honda Stunner CBF 2008Oct View PostIs this thread dead Could someone please share stunner owner's manual plzzzz

Nps buddy. The bike is making me crazy with problems coming one by one in a rowOriginally posted by Honda_CBF View Postsorry for coming in late. Super busy these days.. . So I was liltle impatient.
Yeah will give a try in SVC for the manual. And the most important thing is find a good mechanic who can sort out all my issues with the bike soon.
I don't understand onething, these mechanics are very comfortable with other Hero or TVS bikes, but when they see Honda they act like the bike is out of this world
especially Stunner!!!
Buddy I thank alot to you and xBhp for all the assistance, really I got to know many things about my bike from you people.
