Riding strictly from 45-60 for frst 1k kms..atlst for 500..Use semi synthetic oil since beginnin!!..Try revvin it to 80-90 some times..jst for d kick n ths wll also make sure your bike dont get used to runnin at 45
:P
Above might help to get bettr avrage wid better performance..ths is jst my exprnce!!!

me?? best explanation?? lol
though kinda feeling proud
for run in I stayed upto 3k rpm for first 100kms..
next 200kms i kept it below 4k rpm
next 200kms i kept it below 5k rpm
next 200kms kept it below 6k rpm
next 200kms kept below 6.5k rpm (this was a highway trip)
next 200kms was below 7k rpm (return highway trip)
after all this, rode normally within city till some 1500kms..
after this i went upto 9k rpm, of course for short durations..
And RPMs were never constant, which is the most important part. also I stopped after every 15-20mins/10-15kms of ride (whichever earlier) to let the engine cool down. another important thing is oil changes. 1st oil change was done at 300 kms, 2nd was done at 700kms (at first servicing) 3rd oil change was at 1400km (2nd servicing and I also got the oil strainer cleaned, nothing much found though) after this I carried with 2k kms oil change interval.
.
All intervals are approx.

Re: Honda 125 Stunner CBF
Hi Guys,
Have owned a stunner for the past 4yrs, done close to 40,000km yet & still running strong.
The report sounds really good, true to every word.
Frankly speaking, since I am classified as a Rash Driver driving a 125cc Stunner by people around, Id say, I love this bike.
Helps me scare the crap out of people at times.
Just Kidding.

Re: Honda 125 Stunner CBF
Hi Guys,
I have read quite a few reviews of the stunner and contemplating on buying one. However being a 2010 model, will be worth to invest into. Also those members like CBF_Stunner, Paul, Balaji - can you guys give one more opinion whether to go or should i look for other options in the 125cc segment.
I live in mumbai. MBA student and require for daily commute with occasional long drives.
Budget - 60k - 70k
Daily commute - city : highway = 6:4
Mileage required - 50 - 60
Number of KM - 20km/day
Height & Weight = 5.7" & 65kg
Thanks a ton!

lemme add here something .......... on this Jan 26, 2013 ....... I took a short trip to Vrindavan from N Delhi via Taj Expressway ............ and I must admit I had pushed my bike to around 90-98 Kmph for continuous 15-20 mins for several times and still it was responding just the same after the rush ........ was only taking a chance to figure out how good the hype is about the Honda EnginesOriginally posted by Honda_CBF View Posti went upto 9k rpm, of course for short durations..
Still my Honda never kissed 100, no matter how hard the RPM was built !! any comments on this aspect specifically !!

Pranav

Re: Honda 125 Stunner CBF
In your budget, and requirements i think the Stunner is a good choice. It costs around 66k on road and comes with Electric start/Alloys/Tubeless tires and looks pretty neat, 'sporty' and 'youthful'Originally posted by frostneo20 View PostHi Guys,

still holding up a little view .......
Looking at the current scenario of 125 cc segment Bajaj Discover 125 ST is the available hot cake out there, beating all the competition in almost every measure ......... still
if you have your heart stuck to stunner you may "also" consider the updated version "replica" offered under the name of Hero Ignitor.
Although being a stunner guy, I wish to see one more fella to join the party here

Hi Pranav, thanks a lot for a positive response. Was considering Discover 125ST and Hero Ignitor as well as Yamaha SS125. However, the reviews tilted better towards Stunner and now with another thumbs up for you, am sure i wont go wrong in my decision.
M sorry to have missed out on your name
there were quite a number of people in these 55pages and having read close to 40 odd, i could remember only few.
Thanks again.

Gladiator = NO
Ignitor = I personally hate Duplicates/Replicas n I am sure its not as swift as Stunner :P :P
Discover 125 = Fastest 125 CC bike in India..Impossible until we have Honda Stunner running on Roads
