And mechanics do know what they need to do with the bikes to get bikers Leh'ed. Btw, there were bikers who perform these changes when they start feeling lower performance from their bikes.Mr. Prajwal has already stated the option. 15T front sprocket makes stunner a perfectly geared bike. not too tall, not too short. But if you only need to cruise on long plain highways, then one can also use 16T front sprocket, but this will make it too tall for city riding. http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/general-...r-need.htmlthe above thread will help for online purchases. Regarding local Delhi stores, I have no idea. Delhi xbhpian will help with this. And in Delhi summer, leather jacket will cook you from inside. for summers its best to stick with mess or textile jackets (of course with protectors) but there's a catch, leather offers better protection than any other thing available on market.

    • This toe-shifter is spoiling my shoes! I need to modify the shifter and add the heel-shifter like I have in my Unicorn.

      Anyone explored this?

I am also contemplating on rising the handlebar as I am more used to the upright stance on the Unicorn. Does anyone know if the Unicorn handlebar will fit into this?

Hi, although I have not performed such a modification, still I think I may offer you a little advice. The sitting stance on a Unicorn is upright while on a stunner is like that of race bike (leaning forward), therefore in case you get a heel-shifter fitted on it you may find it uncomfortable to use. Sorry, no advice for a handle bar change.

By the way, please check if the rubber cover on the toe of gear lever is ok.

        Warm Regards,
        Pranav

I am trying to make the sitting stance upright on the stunner coz after an hour of riding, my back is hurting a lot. Never had I had this problem in the Unicorn. Besides, I don't think having a heel-shifter on the Stunner will be uncomfortable. Its about the angle of the lever. The rubber cover is fine and no problems with that.

I think the Unicorn handle will fit on the Stunner, but I am not sure of the cable lengths. What I need to find out, is if the handlebar cable-ends are the same as that of the Unicorn. I think they are, just the lengths would be different. But I am not sure of that.

          • I think unicorn handle will fit. And i also think uni handle is wider than cbf's. Can't figure out how this uni handle can make sitting position little up-right. Btw, have you thought of some extension juggad for increasing the handle hight? Also installing the handle bar itself, by turning it in its axis (from where it fits near the mid section) will raise the height of grips.. Try this out first also, gear lever can be changed, but uni gear lever's heel part can hit foot peg. I think. But I'm sure, alignment of foot peg to gear lever will get disturbed.

The Unicorn's handlebar is higher than the Stunner's handebar. That I am sure of. The position of the Stunner's handlebar is at maximum height right now and is not high enough for me. So I am thinking of a different handlebar.

I cannot fit the Unicorn's gear shifter into the Stunner because, as u said, the foot peg will come in the way of the the heel part of the shifter. I will need to get something fabricated.

@Honda_CBF ............. instead of going for a change in carb tuning before hill climb if I go for a change in air filter, will this act help in managing the bike's performance at altitudes ........... please consider this in continuation of our previous discussions !! thanks

The whole idea of changing the air filter is to increase the air intake. With the new amount of air inflow, there will be lesser fuel mixing with it, making the mixture very lean. In order to make up for the increase in air intake, you need to retune the carb to increase the fuel intake as well, so that the mixture is still balanced for proper combustion.

So you will still need to retune the carb.

i would like to differ here. Up on the hills oxygen % is less so with more air, more oxygen is engulfed. Which is good 'cause your bike is already running too rich. But by how much degree this Free flow air filter will help is unknown. Also, these free flow air filters don't filter air well compared to stock filters. So I'd suggest avoid relying on them. But then again carrying a FF air filter can come handy under emergency situations. But don't use it for the whole ride. Also, go through the Leh'ed threads you'll come to know how 'they' managed things under certain conditions.
