I am eagerly waiting for it to be launched in India. Have enough savings to buy her.

        • If the CBR 250 does not sell as much as honda expects it to sell when it hits India will be mainly due to the low BHP. A Ninja, with it's displacement can easily beat the hell out of it..... But IMO I think Honda has been smart enough to see that you dont need 35bhps of power on Indian roads. A bike with 25-28bhp would be more than enough. The Honda would make the same number of heads turn as the kwacker but what lies within the vehicle would make a difference. As pointed out, Indian markets are a very price sensative market. According to me people who want the thrill of riding would still go for the Kwacker but those who want refinement and technology would go for the Honda.
The Kwacker is like the R15 in the 250cc section, It can beat the hell out of the other bikes but that does not mean that the other bikes are bad. Honda knows this and hence should not priced the bike as much as 2.5lacs.It's the same case with the R15 high price for a better bike, as simple as that.

          • IMHO, in the "cc" conscious market, anything over 1.6/1.7 would mean lesser market. Sad but true. But knowing the way Honda prices things, i wont be surprised..lol...heck i'd rather get a the dragonfly "mojo" if the price is in same lines.

And check this out , it's got a lot of storage space. Dissapointing thing is they say top spead will be only 150kmph. . You can get that on the P220 with a few mods or even at stock. I wanted this bike to be a good bike for travelling, But I guess they are trying to make it a bike for Indias traffic filled roads

                    • The Booking starts from january'10 onwards

Hey checkout the bottom of the "Fille the form to know more" in the Honda India website. It says "The Booking starts from january'11 onwards".

So it looks like the notice period will be around 3-4 months..

Edit: Its January'11. Sorry for the typo error.

I ain't cribbing about the bike, I love the technology used in the bike and it's a honda obviously it's gonna be a superb bike (i own a Honda myself). They make really good bikes, but the fact that they are trying to make it a bike usable in traffic is cutting down the bikes real potential. That was just my OPINION.
