Are the indicators taken from Stunner?
Considering the parts sharing that Honda has done to keep the prices in check the indicators could well be from Stunner. Isn't the switchgear taken from Dazzler/Unicorn? I also wanted to sit on the bike to get a feel but the SA politely refused and asked me to check back after 15th when the test rides commence.

I am surely going to do that. After having seen the Red color, I doubt any other color would do the bike justice of course that excludes the HRC color scheme.

    • Breaking news update on CBR for Bangalore..

I contacted the dealer. These are the updates.

      1. They are getting it in lots of 9 bikes. They are unsure about the colour and ABS/non-ABS mix in this bike lot.
      2. These bikes will leave Delhi on 7th, i.e. day after tomorrow evening or 8th morning.
      3. They expect delivery in Bangalore on 14th-15th. This includes the display bike too.
      4. If going by loan process, it would take a minimum of 4 working days for cash approval from HDFC bank. Only after that would your registration process begin.
      5. If full payment is done, then, on the assumption that bike is delivered to Bangalore by 17th, then by 18th, they will register in RTO and by 19th they will deliver it to customer.
      6. A point of concern for the salesman is that the RTO(In Bangalore, specifically) has to give some approval on this bike. As in, they(dealers) are expecting some approval from RTO for this bike to be rideable in Bangalore. If not, they can give us the bike, but it would be unsafe to ride it from a legal point of view(This is the info conveyed to me, not sure about the genuineness of the same).

Of all the cities in India, I had to be in this city. I had to be here in Bangalore. Sometimes I wonder if God is watching me from above, having his pop-corn and Pepsi, commenting, this guy has good acting skills, lets put him through more problems.

Black would be more subtle, would blend in easily, esp when you are in a place like Bangalore, where bike thefts are on the rise. Just yesterday, in my neighbourhood, a brand new P220's wheels, seats and tank was stolen. Thank goodness I moved into a house in ground floor. I am planning to park my bike inside the house.

P.S.: This is my post no. 69

Probably they mean the registration process as such OR the RTO probably need to get the spec of the bike (stating 250cc, single cylinder, HMSI etc) to be input to their system or through some Govt orders without which RTO may not be able to stamp that on RC. But the latter is still a wild guess as it takes anywhere between a week to month for the RC book to be delivered.

Thats some good news..Even I called up Silicon Honda, BSK 3rd stage. They said the display bike will be arriving on 15th or 18th April.
I am guessing the deliveries will start after 20th of April only.

Lets wait and see. I have planned to buy this bike giving full cash.

The parts are shared with the Unicorn Dazzler, indicators, switches et al. Why did you ask the SA?? should have directly sat on it! Those dumba**es dont know a thing about it.

I linked it the same way but seeing it in person only confirmed it.

Well, I did not want to create a scene and moreover was with my wife. And believe it or not a couple of my team mates walked in to the showroom at this point. So decided discretion is the better part of valor

Rich guy..Not sure.. Spent half year in the US (in 2010)..was able to make this money.
Kept this money exclusively for my Passion (motorcycles). Else my wife would have made me invest this money somewhere. . thank god even she is excited about this bike. Thanks to XBHP.
I even got myself a Scorpion Leather jacket (Black and silver combo)..Goes well with CBR as it come with a Black and silver combo.

Yes! Mohseen is the guy who spoke to me. Another 15 days..I think I can wait.

As the saying goes from me..The wait continues..(but I can see the horizon)

The bike was there in all its glory. And I like what I saw.

                          Impressions:
                          1. The bike is substantial, the pictures don't tell how well endowed the bike is.
                          2. The quality looked good, but then I don't know what to benchmark it against.
                          3. The console looked nice, my wife tells me it looks like our Civic's. I agree!
                          4. The tires are of good size and fit well with the hugger completing it
                          5. The number plate holder was very poor, I guess most would take it off right at the showroom and opt for a sticker either on the front mudguard or the visor.

                          .
                          Thanks for this Useful information/

call up this number 26792196 (Silicon Honda BSK 3rd stage) and talk to them.

I booked mine on Jan 01-2011 (2nd guy) in the above show room. I am yet to get a call from them and yet to see the bike.

I read your posts on Security for bikes. I am thinking of getting an immobiliser, but worried about warranty issues for the same.

Do dealers actually take full cash like this? I mean dont we give cheques or DD's for such a large amount? Maybe Ninja owners can throw some light in this perspective?

Should be a good four months if you speak of it fairly. But if you have contacts, man, you can get in the first lot itself. But the chances are rare, and if you ask me, its unfair right? You are taking away someone's long awaited dream. Four months should be the waiting period.

                              • I booked it last saturday and the dealer promised to deliver by 20th of May. You need to pick a dealer where the booking is not that severe so that the serial may hit you early.
