    Yes, but you can say that in case of Duke.. that it has nothing new except power in 390.

    But the Pulsar 375 would be having expected fairing, maybe projectors, etc. so I guess it won't be any way near 1.5L. After all a 375cc in 1.5 L would be like TATA NANO.

      Duke 200 is already retailig @ 1.5 lakh OTR, now Duke 390 comes with ABS as well with almost double the power. It will be certainly priced above CBR250 ABS version. So a Pulsar with fairing & projector head lamps would cost 2 L in your opinion? wake up & smell coffee.

          I can only speculate that the D390 might be launched mid-2013, like June~August. I have no idea about Pulsar though.

                Yes why not dude. How cheap you think that a 375cc would be priced lesser than a kid Duke 200cc??? LOL
                Even if Duke costs 2.2L, Pulsar 375 would be near about 2L with better and more features than the Duke 390. Period

                          I wonder why is everyone expecting price to be so high ? look at pulsar 150-180-200-220. price difference in between 150 and 220 is about 20k. this is speciality of bajaj, to make bikes very reasonably priced. it cannot be compared with cbr250r as it does not have any other varients to bring cost down. I expect D390 to be under 2 lac mark.

                            Well said. Adding to that, do you guys also know people from BAL are members here & watching this very closely? These kind of pricing posts can trigger BAL to hike their price apart from what they've set as base price.

                              probably rename the thread..it would be more appropriate to have a new thread for pulsar 375(of if the wish to call it 390 like its cousin) when we see some spy pics

                                But I'm sure the folks at BAL know that if they price a bike that looks 'exactly' like the 200 too much above the 200, they will be shooting themselves in the foot.

                                The retention of all the cosmetics of the 200 has effectively killed any reason why Bajaj would price it significantly higher.
