    Hello Guys.

Installed Philips XtremeVision Plus (130%) H4 60/55W bulb on my SF yesterday. Got it from Amazon India for 600 bucks. Below are the pics:

The Pilot lamp is a 5W LED bulb. Got it from a local shop for 40 bucks. Below are the Pros and Cons:

    Pros:
    - Definately brighter than the stock Osram 35W bulb.
    - Its Plug and Play. No need to change anything in wiring or fitting. I installed it myself.
    - Noticed huge difference when there were no street lights.
    - Light throw covers more area on the ground (while using dipper) than the stock bulb.
    - Upper goes farer (LOL) now. Boon on the highways.
    - No over heating so far but I am keeping an eye on the heating of the glass.

    Cons:
    - Light dims when its ON with Engine is OFF and I push the self start button.
    - Obviously sucks more power from the battery. So I would recommend to keep it off when the Engine is not running.

yes you can fit that disk break but the disk system is little bit costly

QUOTE=yatishankar;1227720]can the rear disc break that comes in the new models be fitted onto the old models?

please reply on this someone, my earlier questions never got addressed[/QUOTE]

Nothing done to the ground clearance. You have to lathe a new bolt like this from a engibeering workshop.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

First of all hoping that you are all right
Secondly, To be honest you might just want to change the brake padel as the right side fairing will be screwed back to place and the scratches will be covered by any decent strip like stickers according to your taste
And if you are keen to change it then the front fairing part should cost you 1.5k
You can opt for insurance if you have a zero dep one

Oh and for the mufflers a silver and black paint will sort out the mess

recently happened to me. Cost 5K.

they replaced the side fairings, new left foot peg, silencer aluminum cover, new throttle and front brake lever, new indicator.
                      insurance covered everything for me.

The L.E.D headlight has six lights three on the downside and three on the top. In low beam, only the below three lights glow and in high beam all the six lights glow. But the problem is the light does not scatter properly on ground. It goes everywhere but very less on the ground. Even on low beam the light goes upwards and blinds the oncoming traffic. I really need to get it solved. If you guys had the same problem and know the resolution please let me know.

LED lights are not suited for headlights. because of the large surface area of generation of light, the mirror cannot focus it since the mirror is made for normal halogen bulbs.
The ones that are meant for headlights are different and have a focussing lens kind of like a projector.

So, there's no way we can use LED lights without a projector? I don't want to use an HID projector as it will drain the battery very quickly.

My suggestion would be to change it mate
I like many too had done this change to l.e.d but our reflector isn't made to focus the beam properly and thus it goes haywire blinding the oncoming traffic
And many l.e.d wont work properly ,i.e no passer
Better change to a 55/60w bulb
Which i had to done after seeing the results of l.e.d s
Believe me you cant be that guy who doesn't give a QUACK to the oncoming lane and flooding them with cool white 6000/8000 k lights
Dont be afraid to do so as it wont have any ill effects on your battery
Its tried and tested by multiple xbhpians including me
I am now running on Bosch 4100k 55/60w halogen bulb which gives me more than sufficient illumination and costs 400 a pair
