Hi you can fuel up once it's at the last bar and not necessarily blinking. The bars are on the left of the console. Safer to leave 3litres in the tank. Although manual says less. 14 litre tank. Can see your avg per km and get an estimate of distance per 11 litres. At least that's how I do it.

Guys, the question will be funny, but I have to do it. I ride a motorcycle for more than 3 years and everything suits me, but my friend bought uniwheeland offers to do the same. Does this make sense?

          Hello again,
I got see the bike in flesh today. It looks fabulous and nearly similar to older version. The color schemes are different the ones I saw were cyan blue and matt black. The dealer does not have matt blue yet. The cyan is not to my taste. Matt black looks too black as there no other color to it except FZ25 sticker on tank decals.

I have booked the matt black as it was my first choice, may be putting some silver and red rim stickers will reduce blackness of the bike.

Few observations - The exhaust pipe is different and claimed anti rust. There is a sensor on the exhaust pipe, few inches away from where it joins the engine. I am not sure if it was there for previous versions. ABS discs are very evident on front and rear. The exhaust note sounded littler deeper than V2.0. Rest all looks same and one cannot tell difference visually between V2.0 and V3.0 if color is overlooked.

Details on booking - the on road in Pune is exactly 1.6 lacs with extended warranty. The extended warranty covers engine and gearbox excluding the consumables (example clutch plates) but it will cover factory fault for year 3, 4 and 5 or 80000 kms. The dealer said he will provide temporary number in 6 days from today which can be used till actual number is received. I took the bike key with me as I do not want them to allow test rides or any funky stuff with the bike while its already on my name. I will have my bike with me once the cheque clears and will post some pictures.

Need help - I ran the bike engine for couple of minutes in idle. In these 2 minutes the exhaust pipe was really hot to touch. Is it normal behavior? The technician said its new bike and will be bit more hot for first few hundred kms.

Good to see RC being given as Chip cards. Very convenient and handy. Also new RC gets loaded to DigiLocker immediately once the registration is done.

              Congratulations on new bike.

exhaust pipe does really get hot on this bike. that's normal, and for first 400-500km you will also get some plastic/rubber burning smell from engine area, that's also normal.

'also, please post some pictures and if you are willing to can you post pictures of some specific parts with a ruler scale as well ? i will let you know which parts.

Through which dealer did you book the bike? What about accessories cost?

Hi I have a small problem. The bike died on me today morning. Ignition turns on. The fuse looks good. No engine light. If the starter is pressed, the display blinks to go off and then back on. The fuel pump works. Just before this happened the engine turned over once or twice and then nothing. Tried jump starting it but no go. It's a bit away from the service center or my home so can't take it in easily. Any ideas?

is there any kit-kit sound when you press start button ? looks like either starter relay or battery is gone.

One firm click from the relay I think. The horn works strongly. The battery has some spec for voltages on it. Will test it tomorrow. Bike is away from me now. Thanks for replying.

Also check the clutch switch. And try to start bike with gears engaged clutch pressed.
If nothing works push start the bike. 2nd gear is easier.

Symptoms of a weak battery, its not able to take the load of starter motor. If the relay was gone, there would be no response and neither display would go off, no clicks either

This is a classic example of loose battery terminals. Please get it tightened or change starter relay.

Thanks everyone for the replies. This seems more plausible. Clutch switch problem then in neutral should work? Couldn't jump start it. The display was going off when doing that. Battery terminals are tight.

Haven't been able to check after the first day. The bikes about 10km from the nearest station. And 24km away from home. Will tow it sometime over the week. Anyway due for service also. The bike in the last 2 weeks had an issue that it would stall in continuous traffic. Then I would just restart and go. Think that contributed Thanks everyone, will keep posted what develops.
