    Bad news guys !
The round speedo/tacho meter i got is of low quality ! (as per my mechanic)
so any of you guys can recommend a replacement for that , What i need is 2 round meters with the holder as well .
Should look good on my rx100 .
The meters like that of Royal enfield Continental GT will do.
Help me out in picking a good meter console .

Is'nt avenger's a single cylinder meter . What i meant was the Double cylinders just like the one from RD350 !
Old pulsar meter maybe ? Will it work ?
I found the speedo/tacho on the Royal enfield continental GT beautiful. Any way to install it on Rx100 ?

You can use the casing of avenger meter for your low quality speedo/tacho meter, by doing this you will have a homemade robust/good looking meter assembly.
And also the avenger meter is easily available !!!

Speedo is not an issue, any speedo will work, there will be speedo error if you use a 17/19 inch rim

4 Stroke tacho's will read double the RPM, if you can follow technical stuff(read transistors, diodes) I can post a thread on how to do it.

if you like the RD type meters, get them, Delhi make RD meter sets costs 2k a pair, you need to drill your clutch cover to take the tacho drive gear and buy an RXZ tacho drive kit. You can also buy an RXZ side cover/clutch cover to avoid drilling.

you can use the tacho from KB 100, if you don't mind the square tacho use from RXZ, they are available at reasonable price these days.

As I told earlier avenger meter can be used. Buy two meters and fix it using a custom bracket. Take both the meters to a laith or welding shop and tell your requirement. On the second speedo meter you can install your tacho inner set taken from any 2 stroke bike. Again you have to go to laith to fit this perfectly. You can do it yourself if you have the tools and time.

Another option is buy pulsar speedo tacho set and cut it and take both meters separate. Make a custom bracket for this.

If you are ok with the price you can buy rd meters from eBay. Com. Not eBay. In.

These customizations require so much patience and time. There are many ways to fit like these. Take out some snaps of various meters from google and try to make a design by yourself.

is that from an lml energy , most meters are not solidly (read directly) mounted to their brackets But use rubber or silicone dampers to act as shock absorbers that dampenout vibrations generated by the engine and general running of the bike , this is done mainly to protect the delicate mechanisms inside the meters from damage due to shock and to preserve and maintain their calibration , you can run it as it is ,or if possible dismantle the pod and inspect the dampers and replace them if necessary , if possible do post an image of its underside

Ps : are you from trivandrum
