Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
I live in Bagalore city and got them from J C Road as I had few other stuff to buy and I'm that kind of a person who wouldn't travel that far (I reside in J P Nagar locality) just for projectors.Originally posted by major123 View Post

Nope I don't have any such images!Originally posted by pranav0091 View PostLooks good.
Any photos of the illumination ? Say in a dark road ?
Whats the cost of the four projectors and their ratings if any (Light temperature) ...
And how did you mount them ?
For inner projs I paid 2900/- and outer ones 2700/- and all the 4 are of 8000k!

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody could throw some LIGHT on a type of bulb marketed as "CYT bulb", which is available in most online shops for under ₹300/pair for H4 35/35w.
One of my friend (who has a Pulsar 180), happened to buy it & we compared it with a CBZ Xtreme running halogen 60/55w, & the CYT bulb was visibly brighter.
I was unable to find any other information about the CYT bulb on the web & the CYT bulb looks like a HID bulb.
Curious to know about it as, if it is a good product without any disadvantages, it would be the best bang for buck for all/most of the <200cc bikes (especially the Pulsars with 35w sensor), as it is a direct fit for H4 & costs only ₹150 for a bulb.
Also, anybody using/had used these types of bulbs, please share your experience. It does feel great to have a tank of petrol between your legs & explosions just under it.

I have a bajaj pulsar 150 classic
I heard we can go for the avenger 180 coil without any modifications,
Yet some places I rear we have tochange the rr to that of avengers, is it necessary? My riding is mostly in the higher rpm ranges
Thanks.

Thank you so much for clearing that up,
Can you tell me the cost of the coil along with which bulb you are using,
How is the light illumination,
And how much power is left to add say 2 more lights 35w each,

Avenger 180 coil costed me around Rs.550 + Philips rally bulb Rs.100 + Labour Rs.100
Light illumination is much improved over stock 35W. Provided you adjust the focus as per your comfort
.
Cant answer your 3rd question buddy, have not done the R&D

Yes it does flicker on ideling. The only problem i faced couple of months back was my bulb holder melted, had to replace it.Originally posted by Divyanshp150 View PostThank you so much, I will do this pretty soon

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
That does look good. Did you get a custom frame set up to hold 2 projectors on one side? Or is one held on the existing bulb socket?Originally posted by Yashas Rl View PostHere are few images of my setup

Also, don't get me wrong, just a query; if you're using two at a given time, high or low, why set up four?

Two installed using clamps on each half or partion or whatever you call that as :P and two held by existing bulb sockets.
Hmmm, sensible question! But I want 'that' look irrespective those two(extreme ones) function or not [emoji23] [emoji23]
And when I turn on inner projectors I feel it kind of looks like R1 [emoji12]
