Get the get the coil rewinded with hire gauge wire and use a custom RR. that's it you are good to go with 55/60 watt

        • Philips Xenon HID conversion kit for Classic 350

          Hello All,

This is my first post on Xbhp

I am planning to upgrade my CL350 headlight to Xenon HID and I didnt find any branded HID kit for motorcycle in Pune (read: Nana peth)

While browsing I came across Philips Xenon HID conversion kit designed for cars
Philips XLDCKG4X2 - Xenon HID conversion kit
Philips 858166KX2 - Xenon HID conversion kit

It is H4 kit and comes with hi/low beam configuration,

My question is, is it possible to fit this kit on my Cl350 because the wiring harness is designed for cars

Here is a link for wiring harness (refer second image h4 H/L)

And i did not take inspiration from them, the idea has been with me for quite some time, say a year or more. Bitten by the BMW bug you see.

So you are suggesting a 55/60 Osram/Philips for high beam and a 35 W projector at low? Wouldnt that stress the battery?
Like i said, i am already running on 5 amp battery. Do i have to up it further? Any modification required for drawing extra charge rate to the battery?
No mods required mate i was running the same setup.
Pulsar 220 low beam projector with 35 watt 6000k hid on low beam and 60/55 watt halogen on high beam on stock reflector.

its a 55 watt 43 kelvin hid from navnish
no need to do any type of rewind as p220 has enough charging to run that light with ease
