You can find a white led that suites in electronic components store and some bike accessory shops. But hey why? A white piolet lamp will add nothing to your bikes ability. Why don't you leave it stock and enjoy? Just my thought.

I only own a bicycle and I was humiliated in public due to the social stigma associated with bicyclists, I am going to post that in another thread.
      May be OT but,

Being a bicyclists is a thing of pride. Anybody can buy a motorcycle these days. Cycling takes passion and commitment. Cheers.

Allright guys I am thankful to all of you for providing me with the required information. Rounding it up in brief, things required would be 1. Rewinding of stock generator coil with a higher gauge wire. 2. Ape RR unit. 3. Little modification with the current wiring. and 4. A 5Ah battery. Well it would be bit tougher thing doing it on my own but hope I would achieve it. One more thing, does this same scenario exists for all bikes or what, I mean little of similar modification like this itself stated above by me, if one wants to have full dc electrical system in his bike ?

I know it won't do much.
Itz just I am getting Phillips extreme vision for my bike so just to go with it want to change the pilot lamp as well.
          Thanks for your input bro.
Can you be more specific with what type of led?
Any reference pic will also do.

            1. Rewinding of stock generator coil with a higher gauge wire - 19 gauge is the best. 250gms @rs.60/100gms is enough.
            2. Ape RR unit or even pulsar 180 RR which costs around rs.500
            3. Little modification with the current wiring. And 2 micro relays @ rs.75/relay
            4. A 5Ah battery. go for 7 amps exide UPS [email protected]
Well it would be bit tougher thing doing it on my own - Its not that tough but needs lots of effort

Total cost would be less than rs.2000 if you do it all by yourself and Good Luck.

Will the below projectors be retro-fittable into the Fazer headlamp assembly , without having to build any support structures or something ?

              1. Projector Headlight With DUAL Angel Eye & Bi-xenon HID Kit ( With H/L Beam) | eBay
              2. Car Headlight Projectors With DUAL Angel Eye & Bi-xenon HID Kit ( With H/L Beam) | eBay

Both of them tell that they "fit" H1/H4/H7 bulb (sockets?)

What kind of socket does the Fazer have ? More importantly is it true that i can just plug out my original bulb and put these projector assemblies in their place instead without having to do anything else in the form of modifications ? Will the socket support the weight of these projectors while it was designed for just holding a light (as in not-heavy) bulb ?

              Thanks.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me would provide more info about the price of the Ape RR.
The picture was taken from Internet for reference sake only.
I lost my phone which had pics of installation of HID & RR unit
Or else I would have posted them. I didn't inquire about the price of Ape RR Unit very recently but maybe it has went up & maybe you're right.
But nonetheless it does solve the problem of HID in Dio if properly installed that is.
                    Cheers.

D-Man , I would recommend that you contact Rishab of biking spirit in bangalore (07829000084) he does sell cree lights and being a impulse user himself, he shall be able to guide you as to the right way to upgrade the lighting

Yes they are a direct fit.
Normally you won't need a relay/high ampere battery.
No it won't harm stock electricals/stock reflector, anything beyond 60/55w definitely will.
Halonix 12v 35/35w is the stock bulb.
The reflector inside the headlight is plastic, coated with crome, I dont think a 55-60w bulbs would perform much as the reflector itself would melt eventually.
HID is an option as it produces less heat, but again, HID without proper focusing is lethal for the oncoming traffic and for drivers and riders on the same way.
If a good Projector setup unlike those chinese projector, would do the needful.

Ok getting back to my point, I dont own a ZMA, i love the bike though.
This is basically to know if anyone has tried a 55 60w setup with out a relay and a Ceramic h4 holder and how long did it last.
                        This is for a friend.

The reflectors won't melt with a 55/60w bulb.
They would give much better illumination as conpared to 35w bulbs and also aren't that heavy on the battery.

                            Have you tried this setup?
If he rides for 6 to 7 hours continously will it last??
The holder and the reflector would be able to take the heat or not??

Have tried and tested this setup on a friends ZMA back during college times. Worked like a charm. The ceramic holder is not necessary at all.

At best just a add a separate relay for this setup.
