Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Don't just say that! Post pictures post costing etc.Originally posted by shreyakms View PostGet Led lamps. Typically an led headlight will draw 10-20w. Lumens output will be 1500-2000 as compared to around 500 in a regular 35w halogen. Some Led lamps come with a small cooling fan attached behind also. Its easy to fit, no changes required in the stock setup.
I have installed a led headlamp on my p180 ug4. low 12w and high 18w. 2000 lumens output. The light is crazy. Just plug and play
Need all info.

As rahul baba once said, legal or illegal are just a state of mind.Originally posted by Jackson Andrade View PostAre they legal in India? What about high beam and low beam? 2 in 1? I have installed a 55w bulb. Brightness is Just 10-15% more than 35w bulb. Thats why asking

You are right. I just saw my RC Book and found any mod is illegal. Do they mention anywhere about Wattage of bulbs? I didnt find it. Even painting to other color is Illegal. Decreasing/ Increasing weight is illegal. Reboring is illegal. Mod for chassis is illegal. Using a Filter is Illegal though it donot produce noise. Other brand horns are Illegal. BTW bribe the only legal in India. I have personal Experinces.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostAny modification you do to the bike without the consent of RTO is illegal.

For those who think that using 60W bulb will increase load on battery, Please visit the below link.
This video is to prove that there will be no load on battery with a 60W bulb, Unless I ride at a speed of 4000RPM. At 4000-5000 RPM the initial voltage is re...
Here I have removed the rear number plate bulb and installed 28 SMD Pilots each.
Its about a month with 55W bulb, And I didnt face any problem. This test helped me a lot to clear my doubts. I hope it clears yours too. I had conducted the same Experiment with the Analog Voltmeter and Found the same results. I also increased the ground Clearence. Pics are below
Step1: Removed Silencer
Step2: Inspecting Default size of clamps
Step3: Removed Centre stand and Removed the Clamp with HaxoBlade. Bike without Stand and Clamp looks. I also Grinded the Damper rest plate on the main Stand.
The stand kissing the Chain and also kissing Brake lever rod in the other side
Step4: Welding a newly designed Clamp
Step5: Now the Result
Now I have a good ground Clearence than before. I was facing frequent issues during humps with pillion. Now the Issue is Completely solved.Last edited by Jackson Andrade; 09-15-2014, 01:57 AM.The only time that makes me tension free is when I ride my wheels

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Have you ever come across Wobbling of handlebar at 50+kmph? I am having serious problem. As I take off both hands at 60kmph, handlebars vibrate and tends to pull to left side. And wobbling is more with pillion rider. Engineer has called me to resolve my issue. But already SVC told me that everything is right. I inspected my front fork setup and found that both shocks are not aligned properly. Any suggestions??Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostDid a servicing (18.5K on odo)

Take a second opinion from outside mechanic. SVC doesn't repair anything.Originally posted by Jackson Andrade View PostHave you ever come across Wobbling of handlebar at 50+kmph? And what do you mean by shocks are not aligned? how?
