Can anyone suggest me some good tyres for replacement and it's approx price too....
    Thanks in advance.
Mine came with stock MRF Zappers in Oct. 2012 and also with my friend's P180 in April 2013.
That's strange if P150 can come with Zappers then why not P180. Tell them to give a strong reason or get them replaced (latter idea is better). (Personally) Zappers are really good, also on wet roads. Try getting those EG tyres changed.

and we can definitely meet some day and have a chat...!!

I asked for reasons they just hesitate to give any good reason, they said that all the lots that they received came with EG tyres and not MRF's.

Is it possible that the existing EG tyres can be sold, have clocked only around 100 kms, they are absoletely new.

Could anyone suggest some good tyres for replacement, and it's approx cost too......

Go to MRF showroom. Most of the tyre shops do buyback new OEM tyres in exchange with new tyres. Also keep in mind that OEM MRF tyres also not that grippy. I'm not happy with their grip. If you can increase budget go for R15 v2 rubber. But they don't have good wet grip.

            Thanks lockhrt999 !!...

Could you provide the exact model name of r 15 rear tyre, i found that the size is greater than stock ones.
            It\\\\\\\'s 130/70 and stock ones are 120/80.

Does that affect mileage of the vehicle??

                hello Bikers-brotherhood,

i own pulsar 2007 model (UG3 very old), now yesterday i changed the stock front tyre (ZAPPER FS). the new Tyre installed is mrf ZAPPER FQ TL as opposed to stock TT. now the problem is the installed tyre dimensions are 80/100 -17. the older one was 2.75-17. now do you think this particular Tyre is bit fat and over sized for the for the bike. 80/100 means \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"3.14mm wide and tyre wall height 100% of 3.14mm\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" the older tyre was only 2.75mm. do you think this tyre size would affect bikes ride and mileage. also can someone explain in details about the tyre requirements for a bike. btw the bike runs smooth and the handle does not wobbles as it used to before at higher speed. i am also attaching some pics

                l

fyi details of rear tyre and major work on my bike is at

Hey guys... After lots of pressure and visits to ASC, they took my bike and checked the following on my request-carb(thorough), valves and their clearance, tappets, timing chain and ignition system. Also, asked for replacement of left clip on since the paint was peeling off. The second day, the bike was completely checked and the clip on was repainted. All this was done free of cost and the bike now gives predictable mileage and performs great at all rpms..Totally happy with the service except for slight oil leak in the cyl-head junction. Have to check it soon... Btw, the throttle was spongy during acceleration. A little tightening of the cable brought it back to normal..

I have clocked 11k kms on eurogrip tyres. Someone suggested me to switch to mrf zappers. So should I switch now or wait for sometime till these ones wear off?

And if I should get new ones now, which one should I buy?

If you are comfortable with these tyres, then no problem. Else, try zappers or michelin.. Heard they are better than zappers..

                            Greetings,
I have recently installed K&N flat air filter BA-2201 in my Pulsar 180(2012 model) Should I get the carburetor Tuned to notice the difference and should I go for new Spark plugs maybe ?(PulStar, Iridium, Split Fire....). I have driven around 5800 kms in all.

No need to get your carburetor tuned. As for the spark plugs just get the NGK irdium put don\'t change no need for the split fire. I am myself using NGK on my bike without it done 5000 km on it.

I think the clutch switch is placed on the left handle below the base of the clutch lever. I didn\'t see any switch like mechanism inside the clutch cover. So it has to be in the left handle.
