That can be the culprit as well. In my ride i can shake my shocker, not too much though, and it makes charr-charr sound if i push my bike while standing still. I too had adjusted the chain tension in my ride. Thats a bust type of thing holding the lower part of that shocker.

Both nut on the rear shock-absorbers are fitted in a way that allows free vertical compression & re-bound of the rear shock-absorbers , along with the swing-arm . If they are over-torqued (over tight) or under-torqued (too loose) or fitted in incorrect order - it shall i) impede free compression/rebound of rear suspension ii) cause the shock-absorbers to move unequally on two sides and instability iii) permanently deform the swing-arm bush and other parts involved .
Go to one of the better HeroHonda ASC near you and replace both swing-arm bushes , take care they grease/lube it correctly while fitting . While the suspension is open , let them check both shock-absorbers and the mounting struts etc for defects and correct operation . Make sure they tighten all bolts afterwards to correct torque with a torque-wrench . Maintain prescribed slack in the drive chain .

sir,are u talking about the screws of swing arm or of rear shocker??
the screw of swing arm has been fiddled many times before replacement ..and about the rear shocker screw...it was not touched before replacement ..i will go and visit the asc tomorrow and explain everything to the very best mechanic over there

          • Both are metal bush allowing for the rear suspension movements . Yes , it's best to visit ASC about the problem .

            • Do not expect the cbz shocks to work as softly as a pulsar because of the simple fact that they are stiffer from factory in order to aid handling. You must have experienced that all hero honda bikes be it splendor, cbz, karizma, pleasure have hard shock absorber than competition. Try cornering hard on cbz and pulsar 150 then see the difference. Regarding swing arm bushes if they are defective then the rear will wobble otherwise there will be no problem.Otherwise you can pull out the axle and lubricate the bush and refit it. Most of the time dry swing arm axle causes the problem.

ok..i visited the asc today ..told the most experienced mechanic over there that my shockers just got replaced a week ago and its not working perfect lyk on small patholes....also told him last shocker was working well till the swing arm was fiddled...

now about what he did : he loosened the screw on swing arm and removed a big axle rod which was inside that....that part was a bit rough(because of friction i guess).....he lubed it put some gear oil inside (the place where axle was fitted) and refitted it inside the swing arm...

                the result:
still it dint help n hardly there is any difference...

now guys tell me what should i do???cant this problem cured??
again i m hell lot of tensed

but i guess the problem with my cbz is just opposite....last tym when ever i adjusted my shocker to 1 step up towards stiffer side it worked fyn for 2-3 days....but after that it again started giving jerks..so i guess my shocker has got a habbit of become softer everytym...i dont know why

                    • it feels as if we will have to get used to as it is . all we can do is to maintain proper tyre pressure and look for any mislaignment/loose bolts.

I noticed a tick tick like sound from engine after heating.
Normally, when the engine heats up, the valve clearance varies automatically, and variation in valve clearance results in engine noise like tick tick sound of the valves. . . Please do confirm this and ask SVC guys to adjust valve clearance.

4500 kms covered till yesterday. It feels smooth now.Everything is almost fine.Got her tuned up according to my needs. Running with the AFR a bit rich, but the response is better that way. The breaks are the only problem i guess; i don't feel as confident as before. the stopping distance has increased by a good 10-15 metres since the beginning. How to solve this?

                            • Guys owning the new Hunk without Kicker. How do you push start the bike???
Normally I push start any bike in 2nd or 3rd gear, but today was informed by a friend that its better to pushstart in 1st gear. So wanted your opinions on the same.

                              • I find this really odd recently i have been searching the what bike section of xbhp and many other forums (Got bored :P) Well in the 150cc cateogries many suggested the TS the GS 150 and FZ series(Both being less powered than the cbz-x and fz being less comfy than cbz/hunk) there were very few where they suggested and opted for a hero 150cc bike and even in that many suggessted the hunk its like as if does anyone know that this bike exists? or the new model a big disaster?

And what makes the FZ so popular other than it looks?
