. Since mine front end jumps and is unstable at higher speeds i never take risk by going above 100kmph. I have to complete up fork oil change and re-grease steering bearing as it is making "kat" noise while braking which is irritating and also front wheel seems light and unsteady which is dangerous at higher speeds, hopefully i will complete these jobs this month.

119 on stock sprocket or 15T sprocket ?? . The pull above 70 till 95-100 is just wide grin as you said , sometimes i lower speed again and accelerate to get that punchy feel once againOriginally posted by sibun View Post

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Yeah i second that exp. ...on my first SAL bore that came from the factoryit "worked hard" between 65km/hr- 75km/hr...but on the second SAL bore kit i dont observe any such thing... the needle moves to 80 km/her freely...it wasnt the case with my first bore kit...even though i used strictly fully synthetic oil in the beginning .Originally posted by RohIIT View PostYes this is same with me too. But 50-65 feels more stressful rather than 65-75, after 6k rpm around 75 I guess acceleration is higher and more thumpy, vibrations reduce and it hits 90 easily, after 90 it climbs even more easily till 109 after which due to wind resistance speed climb is slow, if I crouch then hits very easily 114 kmph. Vibrations are most pronounced in 50-65 zone and dies down after that. Below 65 mine feels powerless, I need to rev it to get torque out of it,though things change after 65 kmph.

119 on stock sprockets. At the time of testing i was fully crouched on the tank, the day was having no wind and i pulled till 100 kph in fourth gear and then shifted to fifth, the rpm was at 9.2k rpm well in redline. Even i was surprised but this is it as my bike is always properly tuned and always runs on new engine oil.Originally posted by RohIIT View Post119 on stock sprocket or 15T sprocket ?? . So experience speaks itself. That means the company bore is tight which causes the bike to feel strained at the said rpm. Moreover my bike is at 25k and another 5k and i will open the head and clean and polish the valves. Then will tell the difference.Originally posted by sarbanoxley View PostYeah i second that exp. ...on my first SAL bore that came from the factoryit "worked hard" between 65km/hr- 75km/hr...but on the second SAL bore kit i dont observe any such thing... the needle moves to 80 km/her freely...it wasnt the case with my first bore kit...even though i used strictly fully synthetic oil in the beginning .----consecutive posts auto-merged-----lets just say some other thing caught my full attention all this time ...couldnt escape

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Hi Sibun, My bike is doing 8K on odo, even i feel the same as you feel, i cant keep my Xtreme under 50 for its power, also there will be vibrations and sort of no power in the range of 50 to 70, after 70 it feels like different machine. One thing i like in Xtreme is its power after 70KMPH. Everytime i try to think of selling my bike due to these annoying vibrations, i feel that i should not let this beautiful machine go. Trying to solve the vibrations and lack of power under 70 KMPH. If you find any please tell us.Originally posted by sibun View PostGuys need some feedback. The thing is that is it only my extreme or other extreme has same characteristics that is on highway when the speed is between 65-75 kph in 5th gear the bike feels like it is working hard, but after 75 kph till its top speed and even beyond 9k rpm bike feels free and feels like another gear will further increase speed. The thing is below 65 kph and above 75 kph on my extreme feels like ballistic and my extreme just crosses 9k rpm in 5th gear like there is no tommorow. So please give some feedback as after that will decide if carb needs cleaning or re-tuning.
I was thinking to buy FZ after selling the Xtreme, but the emotional attachment i have on my Xtreme dosent let me to do that. Hope one day i will have a grin on myface for persisting with my Xtreme.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Hey Guys...
I am feeling a problem with my front disc brake, after some 2-3 really hard brakes it looses its braking power may be because of disc plate gets heat up very much, but after some 4-5 minutes as well if i brake it behaves the same even its winter here and I tested it many times on straights roads in 5C temperature in the morning, where I think brakes must byte well because temperature goes down very well, where rear drum brake works well no matter how hard or times you use it....Any solution...?KTM RC390 - Current

does the pad touches the disk when freely rotating?Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostHey Guys...

how old is brake fluid, disk and status of pad?
Remove the pad, there is a support opposite to the piston connected using 2 rods, lubricate it and check.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
I have read your post on purchasing a new bike.Originally posted by ShahriarXtreme View PostGuys please answer my query. I am looking forward to buy Hero Xtreme but i'd like to know it still has tappet issue or not. My 2008 cbzX gave me lot of trouble regarding tappet issue.
I would suggest you to wait for new upcoming xtreme if not in hurry or look for other alternatives.
Otherwise you will face same issues which you want to avoid like some vibrations, tappets.
Tappets is not a big issue. It is a part of maintenance which ASC don't know.
Its better to take a test ride and know your ride better.
Edit: Look for Hunk if its available there.

re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Hi friends finally the day is coming close when I will also be riding xtreme, well and specially after the accident which I had on 15th of August on my honda unicorn... because of which I broke my wrist and elbow ligments.. now I am good and fine been practicing on my friends bikes like pulsar 220, avanger, and cbr 250 abs... no issues in riding them after I recovered in december, well it took me alot of time in convincing my parents for this bike as they got very scared and still they are they are insisting me to go for a car rather than the bike but what do a biker will always remain a biker.
What I want to know here when riding the bike like in 45 to 50 range is there any problem and is there any cold start issues.click me

I remember your message on helping me on my Hunk's engine overhaul. I was not in a position to do that then, and time passed and now finally i had done it recently. Hope you went thru the posts on the engine overhaul few pages back. Me too got genuine SAL bore form Hero Honda. Hope my bike will run smoothly on it.
