  • Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk

Hello Guys, back after a Long time to XBhp Again...

Completed 1.5 years with my bike and it is running butter smooth.

Some of the things i would like all of you to take care of.. sharing the good that i have learnt in this one year.

Always maintain your speed and RPM in the first 3 service. the bike is in a good bonding with you for a long run.

Whenever taking the bike from the service center check each and every minute detail of the bike.. had a issue where in the rear view mirrors of my bike and the crash guard was being replaced with another hunk which came for servicing. Thanks to my habit of checking everything before leaving the service centre. and never ever let the service center guys wash and polish ur bike.

They keep the pressure on a higher side and in the motor they have which eventually lets them save water and the result.. The pressure makes the paint and other things to go off. and the polish they use stays only for few hours.. no use of it.. better give to the local washing guy they do the job really well.

Find a good mechanic for your bike after your free service is done. and always stick to him for all the issues faced.

Always keep yourself updated about how basic things are done. like chain greasing adjusting the chain stiffness.. and engine oil change. etc it really helps you a lot.

before you start your bike always do a four way check of the bike.

Always Kick start the bike in the morning with choke on. and keep it on for 30 second and off you go.

    And remember. ATGATT...

Hope this helps for safe and Quality Riding.

    Cheers!

Yes you can fit pulsar end weights with some modifications on stock handle. Need to weld a 10mm nut inside on each side of handle bar to tighten the end weights. And you are done

ZMR`s bar end weights are heavy, looks cool & also helps a lot in vibration reduction of handle, they also prevent damage if bike falls as that is why they are long in ZMR( Beign full faired bike). As extreme have split handle bar with bar end weights, it already had screwed hole. Also I already had bar end weights but they were quite small so decided to swap them with ZMR`s. In case of hunk, it has plastic weights, so u need to do some jugad to fit them. I had seen in XBHP itself who had fitted pulsar bar end weight on his extreme though it was pre 2011 model without split handle bar wala.

I don't think not doing the 2 nd free service will void warranty.i have a friend who skipped 2 free servicing on his glamour and his warranty is still intact. But do those paid services after the completion of free services as not doing those voids the warranty.i didn't do those as i was too much disgusted with the svc guys and my 5 years warranty is gone.I was informed about that after the warranty was void when i went to pay the insurance premium. Do ask abuot these At the service centre.
Thanks for the reply guys..the supervisor at svc sealed behind the 2nd service slip and told me i wont loose the warranty if i do the remaining free services and paid services on time.

                            More than 60kms/L for Hunk!
                            Which method you're calculating mileage?

I haven't managed to get more than 65kmpl on my Splendor and 47kmpl with Hunk!
