@Cupid : Gulf pride is good, but if it is semi synthetic, it is not advisible during run-in, use any 10W30 SJ Mineral (check out for Indian oil's SERVO SUPERIOR) or any other brand.
ya correct....900ml...its @ INR 194/-...though 1000 is enf for cbz .... i bought 2 bottles nxt time will buy 1 only....

    • 900 ml or 1.2l?

how much oil should i pour at the time of draining? as per the manual it says capacity is 1.2l but 900ml needed for every drain.
I read in some threads that 1.2l is needed at every drain!
      Shade some light please.
Lean = Effort towards what you want, Rich = Effort towards what you need.

While draining through the drain bolt, you have to pour 900ml oil,If you open up the engine, you gave to pour 1.2 L of oil.

It's possible depending on location, FYI, I bought Feb2006 made Achiever in Aug2009. It was showroom's longterm show piece !!!!

Ah..! Ok, A friend of mine told me that the old model is still in production and available. If that was the case, I would have gone for that only, just bcoz it has a kicker. I badly want a kicker..

You could have selected CBZ instead of Hunk....anyways forget past, enjoy the new hunk it's a good package, just keep an eye on the battery's health regularly. It isn't a nightmare if bike doesn't start by push of a button, learn to push start it, it's simple.

yea, i did opt for cbz but heck..it had two long months of waiting. So switched to hunk.. My battery was dead on the very second day of purchase, and was replaced. So i am really concerned. How can we monitor the battery's health..?

Thanks bro. I got it done in the service centre itself first the supervisor told me that it wouldn't cost more than 100 but they charged me 300.

Yeah,300 is a bit high for just the grab rails because repainting a whole petrol tank(Karizma's tank )costs only 900. Anyway looks great bro.

Just take care of the distilled water level actually service centre people should take care if they don't you got to.

Probably they didn't charge the battery when the bike was delivered to you and if you think that the battery is low ask them to charge it when you give it for service.

+1^ When ever you feels the battery is low get it charged or tell the svc to check battery during the time of service.
