Alright s1d I will be waiting for your info about the price of the parts you had mentioned before.
Please do inform me after you have inquired with your mechanic.
I ll replace the parts if I need to.
I just want to get rid of this annoying noise as soon as possible.
    Thank you

Yes, thanks for your reply Lokesh027, I agree with the fact that service technicians at Honda A.*.*. never bother to check the weird noises from the scooter.
What is this "Solid Grease"? How can it not attract dust?.
Can you put some more light on this matter?.
    Thank you.

Sorry buddy, i have been busy the past few days and will be so for the next 1 week. I don't think i l be going to the mech before march 4th.
btw, if its under warranty (or even if its not) then you can give it to the asc and tell them firmly that this needs to be fixed. You can also shoot an email or compliant via honda's website if the work done at the asc does not fix the issues reported.

The diff between buying spares at asc and local spares shop is that.. asc charges around 12~14% as vat over the mrp, while most local spares shops will give you a 10% disc on mrp.
But if you arent sure if the local spares guy is selling genuine stuff, then its better you stick to the asc.. and try to get the repairs done in your presence.

Went to my third free service yesterday, after 5300 kms. Earlier the grunt in the engine had come down a notch. However, after service the responsiveness seems to have improved. The mileage I get seems to hover around 50kmpl.
The brakes are doing okay, scooter has never broken down in the middle of the road. One issue I have started to face is that sometimes if the scooter never starts on the first press then it takes almost 3-4 presses to start up.
Other than that, I noticed there are several checks mentioned behind the service slip, do you guys make the a.s.s guys do all of them ??

Does your Dio stall after it gets started from 3 to 4 presses on electric starter?
If yes, do adjust the carburetor setting. I. E
Just get it fine tuned from Honda ACS.

Use the accelerator while starting, you will not face the issue again. Also use only unleaded fuel from a reliable petrol bunk. If the scooty doesn't start in the first go even after using the accelerator, get your carburetor adjusted.

that's like the tale of straightening the dogs tail, in this case its (a) the A.s.s , from what i have seen all they do is:
"wash" (sometimes washing is done after the 'service') -- change oil -- maybe tap the airfilter since the current ones are not to be cleaned with compressed air -- and if you are gullible, sell you their 'teflon' coating (which is nothing but 5rs worth liquid polish that is rubbed on to the body)

But again these scoots dont need much attention earlier on (at least until 10k) - so the basic oil/airfilter and adjusting brakes is all that is required. That's how my scoot was until 10k km, until i switched over to a local mech where i get all the items mentioned (and not mentioned) on the service manual done.

Thanks bro.... I guess the service center guys have adjusted the carburetor.

Yes, will do that. One alternative I was thinking of was using "system G". Will let you guys know how it turned out.
                                Thanks
