probably yes, get the clutch removed and checked. If you haven't replaced the clutch shoes, springs(big and small ones) in these 55k km , then its time you replaced them. Also the variator rollers and clutch bell to be inspected and replaced if necessary. and hopefully the drive belt is in good condition (again, replace it if its not replaced in over 30k km)
There is video showing the full clutch inspection a few pages back.. pl watch it.
Apart from these I assume its decently maintained with regular oil changes (engine and gearbox) and service.

Hi guys,My new dio is 800kms old now, having a strange issue, engine gets off while i am in traffic or sometimes during rides, that too very rarely. Any guess whats wrong? dust in petrol? Also thinking of adding a Petrol Filter,What say?

I'm guessing that it's the air-fuel ratio being 'rich'.
For a short term fix, increase the idle rpm.

            Don't bother.
This scooter is built to run on 'less than perfect' fuel quality.

any other symptoms before/after it shuts off ?? any cold start issueS?
just get a general check up done of the wiring for any lose contacts, spark plug/cap and the various hoses that connect to the carb/engine
Check the plug color, if its blackish then turn the afr screw by 1/4th turn anti clockwise and adjust idle a little so the bike idles normally.. if its whitish then clockwise by 1/4th turn.
But before you meddle with the carb , then note down the carb setting before you or anyone meddle with it.

Sounds good.. just get the stuff i mentioned checked..a visual inspection should do.
btw.. does this happen after riding a lot of km i.e. very hot engine ? or during short rides 3-4km ?

AFAIK they are same as the tubed zappers. Tubeless tires have advantages!

Any reason to keep only 2 scooters as option?

Both are good scooters. Activa has 125cc option, whereas Dio is 110cc. Hassle free ownership for both scooters.

                              Cheerz!!
