  • About the Ampere and stuff... I don no... May i no why you want a 7ah battery?? Post the same query in the help section... Lot of people talented in electricals in the forum... they will help you...

About the Halonix bulb... It wont change anything... there wont be enough power to light the bulb to its full intensity... Your bike will still be providing only 35W of power to the bulb as far i know... Although you can put the bulb without any wiring changes... It wont make a big difference...

    • Sure prashanth will post it there..hopefully someone may have the answers..

The 12v7ah battery will hold more energy than the 12v5ah this would give greater flexibility in adding stuff on your bike, like extra horns, higher wattage bulbs .. the catch being the alternater should be able to charge this higher capacity battery..most cars do take in a higher than ratting battery and do work fine.. not sure whether this would work out for a Gladi..

A 55/60W bulb would certainly give you a better illumination than 35/35w , but as pointed out by you may not work to its full potential..my question here is if whether someone has tried it already ?... sometimes it might give some reliability issues..

            • spare parts and mechanic

              Hi Gladi users ,

I like to buy gladiator. Based on review and test ride i believe gladi is best in 125cc. But problem i think spare parts availability and service.
              My doubts are ,
Is it possible to get spare parts for Gladiator SS in chennai?.
And is it possible to service the bike by local mechanic?

              • @Kartin :You shouldn't have any problems getting the spare parts for Gladiator as the bike is still in production and yamaha should have them in stock.

You can service the bike with a local mechanic who is familiar with gladiator but your warranty will be void and I wouldn't advice you to do so for a new bike. I know yamaha ASS is pathetic , but would still advice you to have the bike serviced at authorized service centers at least for first few services.

                • ^^^+1... Get atleast the 5000kms or serviced at the SC itself... After that u can move on to a local mech... But make sure the mech knows wat he is doin... A simple example would be: As the Gladiator has an O ring chain... U shouldn use pertoleum products on it... Rather sprays specially for O ring chains are available in the market and only that should be used...

I've noticed that the 4.5-5K RPM shifting thing works for most Indian bikes!

exactly bro...most of the indian bikes are made for average....

I never got more than 53 km/l on bike and some times the average drops to 45 km/l..and I believe most Gladi ss and rs owners would agree with me.. Did u do anything with the bike to get these figures ???
