May be its not much of a problem but I find my FZ's brakes (both of em) a bit less responsive then my frnd's FZ. My frnd says this is coz d bike is new & will take some time to get satisfying results from those brakes. Further, as many FZ owners have pointed out earlier in this forum, m facing d exact issues wit getting my seat locked back in position.

yes it does stay longer but its pain to get in Bangalore so i have to go to far than koramangala to get it so i stopped, but it stays much longer around 1.5 - 2 months before refill. Refill takes 10 - 20 bucks.Originally posted by torino View Postcost?? Also please check nitrogen thread (under universal threads) first and check forum before posting such questions here..

Thanks for ur reply dude!Originally posted by torino View Posti think your bike is running in lean air fuel mixture..the service guy must have set your bike to run in lean mixture as u have said him that u dont get better mileage..lean mixture may give u slightly better fuel economy but can cause low pickup.vibration.engine turning off & engine over heating..
check whether your engine is at correct idling speed..(refer page 6-11) in your FZ Owner's manual for 'Adjusting the engine Idling speed'..this may rectify your problem..
Am takin ma bike tomorrow to service centre i'll let u knw aftr that. Also i'll chk the manual as u told.....

anybody with the FZ16... looking to put the fazer fairing on the FZ16???
anybody know how much the whole thing costs???
need to know... fairing... lights... et all!
well... compressed nitrogen has got less moisture in it dan compressed air... (since nitrogen is filled from a compressed container)...Originally posted by malikkhan095 View Postwhere to get filled nitrogen in the tire.
what extra benefits it has
so in the heat... wen ur tyres heat up, moisture in the tyre vapourizes and expands... ("it has been said")...
which causes the pressure in the tyre to increase... ever-so-marginally!!
but it's a marginal difference... since air is 70% nitrogen anyways...
so yea... it only prolly makes a difference if for F1, nascar drivers...
or F16s pilots... and this is the FZ16 thread...
so yea... in terms of handling... it doesn't really make a difference on motorbikes... unless ur as fussy n perceptive as rossi.
for "normal" street bikes... ^^ wat he said! ^^Originally posted by Sava View PostThe only benefit it has in normal street bikes is that you have to refill the air less frequently. Nothing else.Last edited by xionite; 10-18-2009, 11:50 PM..

thanks for your reply guys...will give it a try
has anyone of u felt that the low profile rear tire is too wide??..cause whenever i carry a heavier pillion rider(80+kgs), the tyre makes too much road noise (even though the tire pressure is normal)..im not complaining about its handling though..Last edited by torino; 10-18-2009, 11:50 PM.

its cost roughly 8k total to mount FAZER fairing on the FZSmoke rubber, not tobacco.
