I haven't heard of it dude ... but it seems to point more toward a problem with your pads , why don't you just check them out , remove them and check with the wear indicator, confirm if those SVC guys have actually replaced your pads with a faulty one ...
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

hey , whatever mods u do on the bike , the power upgrade u get is mostly not worth the effort put into the mod , but anyway , i think u can change filters , upjet carb , get a free-flow exhaust , do some sprocketting on the performance front . tats all i know about .

cosmetic changes are subjective , so thats really upto you .

        Thank u mr.nand15,

howevr, does those performance mods affect the warranty????

I haved powered the clutch, by doing a hole in clutch plate. Good power difference, no change in milage.
It's not what you ride, it's your attitude that counts.

            • 6000kms Service done....

Guys just finished 6000kms this weekend....done it in just over 4 months (4months and a week to be exact)... went to the panvel service center 30kms away from my house instead of the one 3 kms away cause of the poor service received last time...

ya as experienced by others too...the SVC doesnt allow customers in the service bay but they do allow u to watch thrgh the window pane...u can see to it that the mechanic takes care of ur machine the way u want him to ....

the guys at the SVC asked my details and then we went to the bike together...he did a through and through check up and asked if there were some specific problems with the bike...my engine kill switch was a bit loose and the front suspensions were a bit hard ...told him that....

he took care of the switch...bike was nicely serviced....felt smooth...oil changed...spark plug cleaned....engine now not heating up...chain lubed...front suspensions well he said that oil was filled "thoda jyada" and they cant do anything...it will ease out after a few more kms...only thing that was a bit upsetting was the locality of the service center...they are widening the road at panvel and its quite dusty....even a spray cleaned bike got dirty within 15mins of the wash...he was quite reluctant to clean it again when i asked him to while taking the delivery....only half cleaned it with a rag....

but all in all a good service....8/10 for the Naman Auto SVC in Panvel...will take it to chembur svc next time....anyone using that service center, feedback will be appreciated....
sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.

To ride or not to ride?? is a....
              very very stupid question....

NO IT IS NOT FINE!!!!!! The "krrrrrrr'' sound is coming as a result of your brake shoes wearing out, i have no idea which service guy told u it is ok but if u keep running it as it is the metal plates (which are supposed to be rubber or something) will totally and utterly spoil your disk.

I experienced it with the R15 and sometimes the disk gets locked,..the result of that could be devastating

Hey dude, can you explain me what it is. I did not understand the part a bit. Beacuse i want to do it to increase mine also.

There seems to be a problem or i dont know exactly but the bike does not go any faster than 100km/h. Before when it was new i was able to do 120+ easily but now its very very hard. Its like 5th gear is become 10th gear missing remaining gears. My initial is good but top end as lost out. I have checked all "tunning, sparkplug, airfilter, speed petrol nothing seems to working.

I don know how much kilometers you did th ur bike. But during my first few rides with the bike, I felt pain in my hip. Which is due to the hard rear suspension's effect on sporty seating position.

Asked the service people to change the suspension setting, after that I didnt feel any pain..change your suspension setting if it is hard and try
Its not about just vrooming the engine, sharp cuts, top speeds...A true biker should understand his machine

Hey Pali the Fazer's got the same handle bar as the FZ-16 and the FZ-S. In fact the bike is the same except for the headlight and the fairings.
                              Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....
