    I saw this pic

Bro is that radium on the panals thats flashing light or is it an addon that runs with the battery
i see that even in ur profile pic its gr8 what is it How did u get it there??
    &
bilalans my man this new LED pic looks awesome

Whats it called or what should i ask 4 in the shops?

    N

can u guys help me out in here
QUESTION Is there any way i can close the chain socket ?
+ if i do so any downside on the performance end?

    1. Those are white decals (or radium stickers) which were already on the bike since I have bought them.. (lucky me )

white decals shine really nicely when they are exposed to direct light I have got them in the Rim as well.. what you see in the pic is just a reflection of my camera's flash

    2. The LED's are not a genuine accessory (simply use on your own risk type) I found them in a shop which sells accessories for bike (AH helmets for those in mumbai).. I am sure you can get them at a shop that keeps different type of bulbs and HID's
The LED that I have got has 5 tiny LED's attached of a plastic cube and the sixth end is meant to connect to the position lamp socket.. which is the reason for this brightness.

    3. I do not have any Idea about the enclosing the chain socket but why do you want to do it.. Its pretty easier to clean it this way and looks nice as well.

Can u share the make/model of this lamp ? I really want one, but I feel the 500 bucks one which Yamaha sells is not worth it.
Hie Satish as I mentioned above no make and model available for the lamp.. It was lying in bowl in the shop I have been too so I grabbed it and I guess it won't be difficult to find such lamps in shops where they keep automobile accessories.. it costed me 125 bucks hope you guyz get cheaper deal...

    • Needed a good service center in hyderabad

      Hi,

I have been trying to get my bike serviced at Pearl Yamaha (kondapur) since the past 2 weeks. Each time they had lame excuses like mechanics not available, you are late by 20 mins. etc. I have had enough of these guys and am planning to get my bike serviced at another ASC.

Could you please suggest a good Yamaha ASC in Hyderabad (out of your experience)?

      Thanks in advance !

These are not specifically made for stunting and all. These are aftermarket levers. The knob is used to adjust the distance of the lever from your hand. People with shorter fingers and all can be helpful with these but, they burn a hole in your pocket

Its not really for ppl with shorter fingers but to reduce the distance .and you can get some cheap after market ones for a reasonable price.

Nope.None of the levers from the other makes.TVS,BAJAJ etc will fit on the FZ directly.Well the Clutch lever will but the brake lever wont, since FZ has a diff. brake switch, you will need to modify it in order to fit the ones from TVS etc.

I don't know if this is possible actually ... Others can correct if i'm wrong .
          Its possible.very simple too.

It could be what nand said whatever it is i cant understand how its going to improve handling!you will be able to shift faster if set up to your liking.

          • Yamaha sells alloy levers for FZ, but costly at 800 per side.

Best option is to get a pair of normal levers and get them buffed. Will cost around 300-350 including lever both sides.

And yes i was about to post it that way and i ended up messing it a little bit. Sorry for that! And aftermarket stuffs should fit the bike right? Every aftermarket levers wont fit in to every bike! Its a small query i have!

And the lever present in the FZ accessories doesn't have adjustable knobs! And there are aftermarket levers which will flip if the bike has a fall ( hence wont break off! )

The CBR 250R's owners (not all of them, but still many) are having issues with bad paint quality and some utterly low grade plastic things on the bike. If a few things are looked into the bike and a fresh CBR comes out next year as nand15 stated it would make it far better.

oh, i was of the opinion that honda's products are more often than not bulletproof in their quality. u guys are right. honda has rushed it up. now they cant even meet the demands because of low production rate.

                        • alright guys.. some trouble again..

For past two days the bike is making too much noise and feels too stressed under normal riding too. Its pretty sluggish at low RPMs and at anything beyond 5K there is too much vibration and stress (something similar to what you might feel at 115+ speed otherwise)..

I took it to the Yamaha SVC at KoparKhairane (that's the closest to my house).. the mech took it for a ride and came back says, the airfilter needs to be changes and there is a lot of slack in the chain too, so the rear SPRocket would need to be adjusted.

I had got the airfilter changed recently (<2 months) and the chain too didnt look too bad either to me.. I wasnt sure of what he was saying so, I made some excuse and moved out.

I checked if there was something blocking the air inlet under the seat, but it was all clear. I am really confused and a little disappointed now.. not sure what to do..

Can you guys help me identify the issue myself rather than relying on a mechanic.. how can I check if the chain is loose.. ? What can be a few other possible reasons for these issues.. ?

a bike is only as good as its rider...

I am not an expert but engine roughness usually indicates that its time for an oil change. Otherwise maybe the bushes supporting your engine might have worn out. my last guess is maybe one of your brakes have tightened themselves and are restricting your engines output thus stressing it. see your manual to check for chain slack. its pretty detailed.

                            • Today when i checked my engine oil level it was just at the minimum mark
I had given for 2nd service about a month back and they had changed the oil filter too but i think they poured only 1ltr of oil
(its 1.20l if oil filter is changed)
I want to buy the yamalube mineral oil so that i can top up will they sell it to me from the SVC
and what is the cost of it? is it available in 1ltr or 1.2ltr
