ahh, i thought i was the only one to fell discomfort while wearing sandals

i mean even my honda shine used to give me vibrations at 60 kmph range..
i mean bike wont vibrate..but feels like something braking engine from inside..


I have few more problems..

Bike seeems to lack power inbetween..
sometimes i have race hard to get power..sometimes it works perfect..dunno why,,,

.. i observe that chain got rust..
wat the hell..
also battery seems

get a chain lube prefferably yamaha one... for the rust... apply after every wash or run on a wet road.

don't leave bike ignition on for a long time if the engine is not running and do nt start the bike with headlamps on. drive your bike consistently above 3k rpm helps charge better. if this does not resolve, go to yims and get the battery and elctricals checked. your battery comes with a warranty, don't worry.

as far as vbrations are concerned, they are harmonics in first mode i guess... they are just resonance vibrations in engine and there is no rubber mounting of the engine so there is absolutely no check on this. other bikes, all, have rubber mounting. so its normal do not worry

That 58-62 something in 5th gear seems to be the rough patch for FZ's as I've heard about it from a few owners at the service centers.

Lube your chain every 500 KMs. Since you already have rust, get it cleaned with Kerosine once and then lube it regularly.

Battery Weak??? get it checked at the SC and get it recharged. If it repeats then you may ask them for a replacement. It is not that weak... haven't heard the battery complaints yet.

I had a chance to tour on this bike during my last ride. here is what I felt.

Before this trip I had a different opinion about FZ, I had ridden it only in citi. I rode the bike around 300kms in this trip. The bike Rockkks!!! It gives loads of confidence to the rider.

Corners can be taken seamlessly. Even at night if you happend to see a corner at the last moment dont have to worry on this bike. Its lot of fun to ride. It has got vey good feel in the mid range, there are no vibes even on 80's, though it start when it touches 90.

The breaking is better than 220 and ZMA.. dont trust me ? ride them and see. Gears are also very smooth and not to mention the clutch too.
You can cruise in 85-90 with good stability. When you are no 90's and you down gear to reach zero the bike dont make much noise , vibes its very relaxed. You feel very comfortable.

I am very much impressed by the handling of the bike its a totally different
experience.

The lights are also really good. I think better thank stock ZMA. I am totally in love with this bike. It it had a higher engine so that I can cruise at 100-110 , a high profile tire to save the alloys in bad roads , I wont think much than to buy this beast.

Bro....the bike looks stunning in white..that too matte...wow...but i think i would have refrained from that rear alloy coloring(just my opinion)...
