  • yours is the first case i am seeing this problem.... have been using denims since i boughe my fz more than 2 years back and nothing as such...

my first action would be to take it to the sc and demand an explaination of the problem.... at the same time you can also take some pics of the damaged portion and send it to yamaha india along with the bill of the bike.
if this is a problem with the bike being a defective product they have to change the parts.

if they somehow are able to prove that it was due to your mistake may be like keeping the bike in harsh sun all the time(which in this case is unlikely as the bike is just a month old), or spilling of petrol (which tends to damage the painted parts) etc. etc. you can always get a can of touch up spray from your local two wheeler market and do the work yourself. a bottle of spray should not cost more than 200-300rs.
    Omg.....
I care my bike more than my life. never exposed it to harsh sun and i always wipe spilled petrol on the spot. see the pics(idk if u guys can see it).
Also, there's bend on the swing arm(check attached pics) is it normal? btw my bike runs smoothly.

Recently I saw a FZ with those LED Side Markers that Yamaha provides as an accessory. Looks so awesome. Does anyone in this group have it installed in their bike ? I also notice that in many of the FZs the side markers or Yamaha Logos are peeled off. Can these LED side markers also be peeled off too ?
I want to get it installed on my bike too, But don't want it if someone can peel it off.
            Any suggestions ?

That is not a thing to worry much, almost around 90% of Fz have this bend.this is not serious,it is done from factory only to accomodate the rear tyre. For further clarification you can visit SVC.

dude , you're panicking ... the paint fading can be easily fixed with a wax , no issues ... I had my jacket zipper which really made a mess of the tank and was cleaned out by just a general wax ...

I've installed one on a kid's FZ, a duplicate pair, 450 for pair. A guy in our locality got them on his Fazer. He also got the glowing handle bar ends. IMO duplicates look far better. Original one is too bright and full transparent. Duplicate got silver frame, but average quality.

Its been 15 months for mine and its died! I plan to push start and take it to the SVC tomorrow. Last service showed the water had evaporated completely and was replaced! 2K kms after its dead now. How can I confirm if the battery requires a change?

I hear Amaron is more popular. Hoping for more replies before I can freeze on this.

These ppl completely raped the tire to show the power of sealant. No doubt it an extreme condition torture test n any such thing happening to 1c tire is the remotest possibility. Have put Slime in ma rear tire n i am highly satisfied.....2 weeks n jus 2 psi drop
                                Hi,

today i immediately installed the Ride On Tire Protection System after the tire shop guy failed to figure out the cause of loss of tire pressure. The Dealer is based at Churchgate, Mumbai and is genuinely helpful and quite prompt with the filling up my FZ's tires both front and Rear in no time.

The Dealer also gave complimentary nitrogen fill up on me bike. The moment the dealer came to know that i am from xbhp, courtesy Satyen Poojary and gang's business with them , the dealer immediately offered discount. The charge for installing on both tires came to Rs. 1492/- (Pretty reasonable considering the fact that Slime that is available from Yamaha somewhere around 500-700 bucks per tire!).

The normal quantity of fill up of the product in the rear tire is 8 ounces and 5 ounces in the front. However, i chose the extreme mode which translates to filling 10 ounces in the rear tire and 7 ounces in the front which ends up covering more area breath wise giving better protection while offroading.

Ride on TPS is definitely lot better than the other brands of sealants. This sealant is good to last 35,000 kms which is more than the tire life of the stock FZ revz tires. After riding for 5 kms i immediately felt the difference in the way my bike behaved.. she was able to cover uneven roads without giving me much of trouble, the ride has indeed become smoother. By the time i reached home and checked on my rear tire, as i suspected the old puncture repair gave away and a bit of sealant came out of it and immediately dried.

I suggest for those who are interested club in together and then go to this dealer.. you will get better discounts for sure the moment you say you are from xbhp.

will post more details as i re-initiate my crazy rides.

                                Cheers
