You are so much worried ?

My bike's chain was out of sprocket yesterday like we use to see on bicycle.
Then I had to set it back

On the lower left side of the engine, you will find a screw in vertical position. Move the screw to increase / decrease the RPM.

Less than 1000 . Were you not facing any issues with pick up? Keep it in between 1200-1500. Ideally it should be 1500 when the engine is warm.

ya.. there was a lag between my throttle turning and the actual bike acceleration..
i kept it at 1500 now..

will be visiting the svc to get my fuel tank cap checked.. there is continuous fuel smell around the bike and its coming from the tank cap

                            Hello guys.

I have a little problem. My fazer's self-start stopped working all of a sudden. everything else is fine, the kill switch works, the lights work. I am able to start it with the kick rod, but can anyone suggest where to look for. I will check the wiring tomorrow. the service centre guys will make it worse or will say the starter motor itself is kaput even without looking for actual problem. so if anyone else who faced similar problem plz help.

Sounds like battery is not able to crank your bike. But it is better to get the electricals checked and also get the terminals of the battery and the connecting cables cleaned up. Use grease or petroleum jelly to avoid build up on the terminals.

From what you said, seems like stater motor seems to be faulty, I had the same problem with mine when it was 3k kms old, all of a sudden , out of the blue this thing stop working, all the electricals are fine. But since it was a new bike got it replaced in warranty, if your bike is within the warranty period, get it changed under warranty.

Is the bike making a kat kat kat kat sound when giving the thumb stater ? It might feel like the bike has no fuel at all to start the bike.

                                Cheers
