Is it the Same with you guys?
I feel certain vibe at 4k rpm. As the speed increases, the vibes fade. This is normal. Enjoy your ride.

        Thanks Mate

But is it the same for FZ-S or different because I don't want to screw up anything in the carburettor while DIY. Kindly advise.

today while commuting, hit a barring board placed on highway, with handle (right side), nothing happened to me , but the "accelarator, switch panel, front brake" unit has moved to front now, (displaced from its place) , went to a local mechanic and he replaced it alright, but the total assembly is moving freely now , not fixed, the mechanic said, it is not possible to fix untill u replace the whole thing.

          So what Should I do?

I dont think so. Look for any damage to the link on which the mirror is mounted. The screws can be used for adjusting the link position as required.

changed the front disc pads and the rear brake shoes today..
front for 350rs and the rear for 250rs..
but the SVC guy told that the disc has a slight bend and needs to be replaced..

mostly our daily bikes have nearly similar settings..
i don't know about the process shown above..
better search through youtube for video DIY.. or get cleaned from a mechanic..

                Guys..
from quite a few days I am noticing that whenever I accelerate a little bit fast there is a "khat khat" sound at regular intervals from around the chain nearby(below) the swingarm area.
I went to my local trusted experienced mechanic (almost more than 25 years), & he said me after taking a test ride that the "chain link" needs to be changed.
But what I learnt in Xbhp is that O ring chains ain't like ordinary chains that needs such procedure. Also I use to clean & lube the chain at regular intervals (except a few times where I rode 900+ kms a few months back ).
So what can/should I must do to rectify the problem. A DIY with pics would be of great help else a descriptive narration is welcome.

                Thanks in advance.
                Ride safe.

if your bike has done more than 12k odo.. then better change the chain set.. costs around 1200rs..
changing the links or any type of alteration to the chain would not be recommended..

My ride is 10350 kms only & the chain is in good condition. Also many of FZ/Fazer users I know had been using the chain for 20-22k kms even riding in mixed conditions (hard/normally), so I doubt its need to change chain-sprocket set as of now (please don't be offended as thats what I think). Any other suggestions that might help.

A similar thing happened with me sometime back.. here is the post and the solution.

Identify the chain link having problem. See if the misalignment goes after sometime.

Rains are lashing hard and looks like, its giving problems to my indicator and headlamp switch.

I am facing a very pecular problem. When i turn on my left indicator and press the switch to turn it off, sometimes it will not turn off and sometimes it does. When it does not turn off, i have to turn it right and switch it off . When i turn on the pilot lamp and then turn on the headlamp, my speedo light goes of which in-turn switches of the pilot lamp as well. I have to adjust the switch to turn on the pilot lamp

Can anybody throw some light on it please.

                        Cheerz!!

Had same issue...nothing to worry.....its happening due to moisture entering the switches....luckily for me it happened when my servicing schedule was nearing.....so told the SVC guys so they rectified it....

Next time before onset of monsoon use WD-40 inside the switches joints inside the seat areas where there are possible chances of rusting. its best water repellent u can get in market. so u wont b having this problem.

For the battery, remove the battery, remove the small caps on the battery and fill it with battery water. Is it the stock battery or have you upgraded it?

Use a bike cover..hardly costs Rs.150 bucks and spray wd40 occassionally.also spray inside the handle lock, where u insert the key.

Made a terrible mistake, but thankfully nothing happened. It had been 9000kms since the spark plug had been cleaned/taken out.SVC guys never bothered to do that and even I had forgotten. Was expecting adverse effect on the plug, but checked the gap and used bit of sandpaper scrubbing. Finally did it myself on Sunday. To hell with the SVC guys. Can the fork oil be changed at home as a DIY? I recently painted the front forks to golden...but scared that the SVC blokes might put some love marks on them.
