      Hi Vinay,

I had same thing in my mind for long. Instead of Duke opt for Pulsar's. Easier to fit on swingarm. You will need a good welder who will weld the mouts for mudguard perfectly on to the swing arm. First check how it is mounted on Pulsar then check the feasibility for Fazer.
Measure the distances also the tire size, just to make sure it will serve the purpose. But the only problem is engraving of Pulsar brand, see if you can do anything about it.
      Regards,
      Abhijit

i think tyre size of ktm is 10mm more than that of fazer or fz wereas of pulsar 200ns its 10mm smaller than that of fz or fazer...do u think 200ns will fit on fazer tyre???

        ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

i have checked my fazer's mounts which the rear tyre hugger which comes stock to the bike is being used...i dont think pulsar 200ns hugger will fit upon it even if i go for extra wielded mounts...better option for me seems to go for duke's hugger then just cut off that bolt end of the rod change it to some thinner 3-4mm thick round coin type end with a hole in it.... then just fit that rod directly onto the present nut bolt upon which the stock fender is bolted...what say ? i hope someone understood what i was trying to say here ??? will it work that way ?

Ya, that would be much easier to do..
as you can see the p200ns hugger has a larger contact area which needs to be connected to the swingarm, as compared to the duke's..
but i don't think the stock nut connector would be strong enough for this setup.. You would have to weld the hugger arms to the swingarm..
as the fz's have plastic mud-guard and that is fixed at four locations.. But this is kinda heavy as compared to that and would need a slightly larger nut-bolt setup on the swingarm..
you can see for yourself that the stock setup in small for this this..

            Ride safe and have fun.

I was out of town for few days and to avoid any harm to my bike from rains, i had covered it with the cover. Although, there was water all over the bike even after covering it :what:.

Today, while i kick started my bike, it started in one go. Gave the choke and let it remain idle for sometime. The moment i twisted the throttle slowly, kaboom the bike switched off and that typical blop blop sound came from the exhaust. Tried kick starting it, gave self, but everything in vain. After almost 3-4 mins of kicking along with choke, it started and blop blop sound was not there :screwy:

Can anyone highlight what could have been the issue? I dont think water had seeped into the petrol tank.

                Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Please check the chain slack, if it's too loose, the chain might be hitting the swing arm when u go over potholes at a slightly higher speeds causing the noise. Check if u experience this noise when u ride ur bike slowly over potholes??

It was indeed the slacked chain which was hitting the swingarm!

Thanks a lot for the help mate....

Yes. The same thing happens always to my bike also whenever I do a water wash. Its because the water goes under the seat and causes electrical shortage. Just wipe the under seat parts with a dry cloth. And then it will be okay

Wiping with a dry cloth work in some cases, the moisture could still be present in places where the cloth could not reach. It's better to spray a bit of wd40 or zorrick and then wipe the area dry

My chain slackness has gone haywire. The slack is almost 60-70mm . No wonder i am feeling some lack of pace in my ride.

Can this be adjusted by DIY oe have to go to the SVC. If its DIY, what tools do i require?

Please advice wether or not the Daytona kit is worth for the fz? I don't plan to do any racing.. But like to go on long drives and would like a little more power under me.

Not worth it,I would say.pretty expensive and no guarantees about mileage.
